I would say, 'it depends'. If, 25 years from now, the US broke into several directorates, some of them might issue arrest warrants for W. The New England union would, for sure. New Israel... might offer him shelter. The New New Mexico... hard to say. The Idaho Potatoheads Confederation would probably issue a 'shoot on sight' order. But all this breaking up may not happen for 50 years, in which case Bush might be able to survive unarrested.

He comes from a long line of old nazis who know better than most how to survive and prosper with a simple name change. Don't be surprised if some foreign dictator rises like the "Phoenix from the ashes" and he bears an amazing resemblance to Dubya. Or, perhaps he'll be appointed as the Israeli military governor of Indonesia or some former Pacific Island Trust where the wimmen are scantily clad or where young boys serve their apprenticeships under powerful chickenhawks....
The Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton-(Bush again???) era would be a nice chapter when 'The Rise and fall of the North American Empire' is written.

I wonder if those families, with American names that comfort U.S. masses, were chosen by behind-the-throne powers who always strive to forge their agenda in deceitful anonymity....
I'd read somewhere, maybe here, that a study was done, and experts agreed that the American Empire peaked around 1962 and has been in decline since. No doubt that they will shove another clintoon down our throats, and she is already making noises like a mini-Neocon. Then Jeb, Chelsea, Jenna, and their kids. We're screwed.
If we stand still you certainly are right. Best we get under motion, a moving target etc etc.
In 25 years this entity called America will be majority minority and the aging whites who call this place home will be hiding behind shuttered windows and locked doors. As far as Bush there's that plot of land he's rumored to own in Paraguay.
And all the rich PoliticoWhores and CorporoFascists who brought it on will have moved out of the country..because they can. Their strategy always has been to rape the country and move away. Perhaps some will be "brought to justice" before they can escape???
