And cats and dogs and racoons and parrots and just about any animal.
Last night I had a dream that I rescued this mouse from a sadistic teenage boy who was torturing it. Although it was suppose to be a mouse it looked like a cat but also it could talk and it asked me to keep it, not to let that boy near it and I said okey, I would protect that mouse/cat with all my heart. I really cared about it and was outraged at what that boy had done to it to hurt it.
YT I suspect you making fun of the fact that I can communicate so well with animals in my dreams.
The neighbors had a Pekingese who recently died. She'd come to my house to visit me, just walk over here, climb up my deck and come to my door, and I swear it sounded like she was saying "Hi Diana, Diana hi hi!" then I'd let her in and she'd hang out for a while.
Once when the neighbor picked her up when she wanted to be left alone, she sounded like she was saying, "No John, no! no!" I'd never known a dog that had a voice that sounded so human. I miss that dog so much she was so cool.
it is very nice that you like animals. I do not think they are making fun of you.
I like animals too, but probably not quite as much as you. I have 2 cats. my mother has 7 cats. I rescued 11 cats who had no homes from the parking lot of the condo complex where I live and found all of them homes. I like dogs too, but not racoons or snakes.
on the job-site I'm working at now the workers killed 3 rattlesnakes. rattlesnakes are bad.

There are rattlesnakes in my area, even though it's the Midwest. We also have brown recluse spiders, although both rattlesnakes and the spiders are pretty shy and it's hard to get bit by one.
The only good animals are tame animals. The rest will kill and eat you.

When he was younger and in a bad mood, I think my cat would have tried to kill and eat me if he thought he could get away with it. He took several chunks out of me as samples, I think.
I got bit by a brown recluse spider a few years back. Right in the armpit. It hurts. A lot. Plus, although this didn't happen to me, the bite will fester and you can end up with a big hole in you when it finally drains out.
There are coyotes and foxes moving into Chicago lately. The suburbs have exploded so quickly, they got used to people and lost their fear of cities. There's a green belt around Chicago that acts like a superhighway for wild animals.
