9/11 victims' kin keep up fight: Suit pressed vs. Logan Many families of victims - some with children to support - agreed to take a share of the $7 billion September 11 Victims Compensation Fund created by Congress. But as many as 38 families refused, demanding answers from Massport and the airline. Their lawyer says it is highly unlikely mediation talks tomorrow will get them to drop their related suits. "We're too far apart." said lead attorney Don Migliori. The next step is a pre- trial hearing set for Sept. 11, an irony he calls "distasteful." "It's not about terror or bin Laden, it's about what aviation did or did not do on 9/11" said Migliori. "These families are fixated on getting answers, asking questions," he said. The two jets that struck the Twin Towers took off from Logan after the terrorists managed to get aboard armed with box cutters. The families are suing Massport as well as American and United airlines, blaming haphazard pre-attack security. They say the security lapses have not been fully explained and view their case - with a Sept. 24 date for the first trial - as seeking justice delayed. Israeli-owned ICTS supposedly never used CCTV cameras for Logan Airport, unlike the other airports (who still haven't released their photos). Sue this company as well, and release a picture of an "Arab hijacker." No photos = no hijackers, or atleast not Arab ones.

Do you remember that surveillance photo of one of the hijackers from the airport on 9/11 that does not match the officisl mug shot? Can't remember which guy it was ofhand- honway would have the info, i'm sure.

Hanjour sent two carry-on bags through the X-ray machine and passed through a metal detector without setting off alarm. — AP" John Solomon with the Associated Press ran a story that was published in media outlets around the globe. The story included the image above and identified the man as Hani Hanjour. The man is clearly not Hani Hanjour. Neither John Solomon nor the Associated Press ever explained who provided the incorrect information that resulted in this man's picture being posted around the world identified as a suicide hijacker. As far as I know, NBC is the only news outlet that ever publicly disseminated video of a man identified that resembled the actual Hani Hanjour. The video is too blurry and grainy to rule in or out the man as Hani Hanjour, however,unlike the man above identified by the AP, it could have been.

We guessed that the video would be grainy and no time stamp when they first made the announcement. A lot of box cutters and Korans in all the carry on luggage? Meanwhile, they've had 6 years to doctor any videos they'll have to show in court if so charged.
