I can't bring myself to watch them. It frightens me and depresses me at the same time. A couple weeks back I forced myself one morning to watch "Fox and Friends"- the Fox version of "Good Morning America". It was literally wall to wall fear and hate mixed in with banal trivia, sleaze, schlock, all presented in a sappy patronizing "down home" manner. Clearly each persona on that morning show has taken on a "character" that has literally been written for them. The weatherman is the "clown" who also chimes in with his two cents on issues which happen to be standard Neocon fascist talking points. The dumb blond is purposefully a ninny- but whose "common sense" also happens to validate the Neowhore positions. And then the serious guy is just a straight up propagandist.
I watched in horror as they stood outside some grade school funded by the city of New York that teaches arabic to students of all religious backrounds and they were saying how this could be a "terrorist training camp". Why? Well the principle had refused to make a student take off a pro Hizzbollah T-Shirt! Unreal. By the way- there was no crowd there "protesting". This was just Fox News trying to stir up fear and hate where there was none - at all. The locals hadn't shown up to protest. No one cared. Just a Faux News truck and some "reporter" standing outside this secular Arab language school attempting to equate a kid wearing a pro Hizzbollah T-Shirt with support for the evil Al Qaeders!

But Chris Wallace is worse. That question was just beyond the pale. Except in the crazy cuckooland of Fux, where it's considered, somehow, fair and balanced. Fox is in a tailspin, its viewers are about 70 years old, advertisers are bailing out, and it will soon become a total irrelevancy. Ol Rupe will keep it running, but no one with a brain watches it anymore. Not that many ever did. It appeals to the slack-jawed and terminally angry.

El Pee is now worse than FR in that regard- it seems the idiots who get banned for anti muslem genocidal rants go over to El Pee and are welcomed with open arms.
