White House celebrates Rosh Hashanah a week early.
Last night, President Bush issued a statement wishing “greetings” to those “celebrating Rosh Hashanah“:
The enduring traditions of Rosh Hashanah remind us of the deep values of faith and family that strengthen our Nation and help guide us each day. As Jewish people around the world come together to celebrate Rosh Hashanah, it is a chance to look to the new year with hope and faith.
Laura and I send our best wishes for a blessed Rosh Hashanah and shanah tovah.
Unfortunately for the White House, Rosh Hashanah does not start until next week — sunset on Sept. 12. (Happy Thanksgiving, Mr. President!)
The sound of the Shofar heralds the beginning of a new year and a time of remembrance and renewal for the Jewish people. During these holy days, men and women are called to reflect on their faith and to honor the blessings of creation.

The Reichwingers get all upset with Dear Leader when he issues "Happy Ramadam" cards. See- he is suppossed to be like them- call them dirty mud people and denigrate and insult their religion constantly. Not doing so is being "PC" in reichwinger land. Do you think the reich wingers will be upset by Bush celebrating Rosh Hashanna? Somehow- I don't think so. The rapture nutter "churches" these dimwits belong too have been bankrolled by Israelis.

What's with Goofy's Jewish head cover? How insulting to both Jews and Christians. This tewrp is Christian not Jewish so why is he sesecrating the Jewish faith and the Christian faith by pretending he is non-Christian?
Goffy is the the quintessential "suck-poop" goy. Look! isn't he cute, raising his head from the commode, smiling, his lips leaking waste as he adjusts his Jewish head cover.
