I don't think that LP or any of these forums are enough of a threat to warrant taking down by anyone other than perhaps some individuals who might be financially backing them. But, I'm thinking that this is more likely a problem with Goldi's server.

Since you appear to have information on this topic, why don't you fill us in and tells us what's wrong with the server...
Upon testing the servers, one is offline. NS1.INETEBIZ.COM ONLINE 10.38 ms
Those are DNS name servers I believe. The IP address of 69.55.11.240 should still respond to pings, and by entering the IP address directly into the browser address bar you should be able to bring up the LP homepage, but it doesn't, meaning the LP server itself is either down or disconnected from the network.

I very politely told Goldi similar news during the summer of 2005. She responded by saying that she had had enough of me putting her "people" down and that she was going to ban me. I told her the truth in a nice way and she responded like a psycho. Ah well, I will shed no tears over Goldi losing her toy.
I recall that Goldi also made reference to receiving a warning from the site host, that they were being watched, and that further transgression of the host terms of service could result in the host shutting down the site.

Interesting, do 'they' really see LP as that much of a threat, I wonder? If so, why would they take it down now? Just a speculation but it ties back to a tidbit put out by Blackhorse or JackalopeBreeder - Blackhorse I think - that a lot of important people in the Stop the NAU Movement/Minutemen checked LP daily to see what was going on there and to read the comments of some of the Posters. There now appears to be a big push to lock in some of the key points to establishing the NAU - Mexican Trucks are now being allowed in, there was the recent meeting in Canada, and both were exposed and subjected to extreme scrutiny and resulting in a lot of discussion - and the Shills were powerless to stop it. As well since those types of people were visiting there they were also getting exposed to viewpoints that they would never see on Gulag Web Sites like Fraud Rezpublik. Despite the rampaging NeoTrotskyCon Shills information was getting out and Shills were increasingly discredited. There were a lot of people beginning to wake up - I had noticed several former tools who had woken up to what was really going on. In fact a couple, liberator comes to mind, had almost completely left the Dark Side. As well there were a fair number of Freepers who lurked or registered and were getting an eyeful of just how controlled FR is. From the point of view of the information controllers LP was a "problem". The one thing that mind control through information control cannot withstand is the presence of credible alternatives to what the controllers desire people to think. When you control the information people get you control their outlook, but that control is only as good as the absence of credible logical alternatives to their enforced viewpoint.
I suspect very strongly that it WAS intentionally taken down to shut off or slow down the viral spread of information inimical to the official lies.

If LP is truly down, or gone, then we can expect to be inundated with the very same parasites, and paid shills in a matter of days or weeks. You will have to really pay attention to the forum, and more importantly watch closely who comes over from there. I realize this site is starting to gain a lot of attention, and because this site is still a place where people can post things freely, it will be a major thorn in the side of those who wish to create consensus, as opposed to allowing freedom of thought, or speech.
