Maybe Goldi made good on her threat to shut everything down. From what I could see, it has come to the point where every thread is about Ron Paul and his supporters being kooks, anti-American, traitors, etc. If you read through the posts on the threads, they boil down to name calling between the pro and anti- Ron Paul folk. The anti-Paul people were really working overtime trying to denounce Paul and his candidacy. For people that continuously declared that Paul was a nobody candidate for fringe lunatics, they spent an abnormal amount of time posting anti-Paul articles. It was quite apparent to anyone reading LP that the very existence of Ron Paul in the world is a threat to them and their slavish devotion to big government and the two-party fraud. Yukon, Domer, packratxxxx, Daconia55, boilerplate, calcon, and others are really worried.
I recall that Goldi also made reference to receiving a warning from the site host, that they were being watched, and that further transgression of the host terms of service could result in the host shutting down the site.
how long ago was that?
A week or so ago.
Any idea of what the "transgression" may have been???

I'm no fan of Goldi or many others at LP, but if an ISP can take them down, then that is scary.
If the site host determines that the site has violated its Terms of Service (TOS) they can pull the plug and the site is offline. This is what was done to the Clown Posse Snitz (using Snitz code) site by its host which was in the UK at that time. This does not necessarily prevent the site from moving to a new host with its database history intact.
Do you know who owned and or ran clown Posse???
Golfmann said he was the one on the papers. He told me he was working with Hugh to get it shut down. That was before he took his own site out of public view and banned me.
I am reasonably certain CP belonged to Mastermind, not Golfmann. I believe the site host was spelled Huw but pronounced like Hugh. The host was in the UK and with the name Huw, the host was possibly Welsh. I also believe (but have no proof) that Golfmann was involved in the shutdown of the CP Snitz site. I have seen that denied. It is just my opinion.
That's the one I was talking about. Golfmann had told me prior to his taking NN private that he was talking to Huw to get it shut down because he was still listed with Huw as the owner. Whether that was why it was shut down or not I have no clue I only know what I was told. Golfmann has given me no reason to trust him.
I specified the CP Snitz site because I believe someone else was responsible for the shutdown of the vBulletin site. Shortly before the host pulled the plug there was talk at CP about a bunch of complaints having been filed with the host and that the site might get shut down. I did not know who the site host was until after the site had been taken down. I was given the address of the AIMOO backup site but I never registered there so I never went past the splash screen. The shutdown did not come as a complete surprise to CP. I had not previously heard your specific information but what you speak of is what I have always suspected as having happened. Golf later showed up in the background at CU and ToaK. I believe he was a major source of CP information at both sites. While ToaK sometimes took credit for shutting down the second CP site, I doubt they were responsible.

It was fun for a while. A lot of changes happened on the board and it seemed to fracture when the Guild members came over from FR. After that, the "posse" spent the bulk of its time attacking each other. Eventually, I also concluded it wasn't worth it and left. I was just going to stop posting and go quietly, but it did not quite work out that way.
I guess I never did know what happened to you or most for that matter. I wasn't in any loop or back room or part of the gossip chain. I was banned for being a FR supporter. This was after I was banned from FR. I had said I thought JR really believed he was intitled to fair use. I was proven wrong. I conceeded defeat but that was enough to give them amunition against me. Fuz bitched and moaned until MM banned me for being a FR supporter (he never liked me anyway) claiming he wasn't buying my sudden conversion. What sudden conversion? None of them were trust worthy in my opinion. And EveningStar, I trusted him and was his friend until I caught him repeating confidential information. I see he still posts at NN. I always knew he was a pot stirrer but I thought we were friends.
