I very politely told Goldi similar news during the summer of 2005. She responded by saying that she had had enough of me putting her "people" down and that she was going to ban me. I told her the truth in a nice way and she responded like a psycho. Ah well, I will shed no tears over Goldi losing her toy.

Swimming around in my bourbon highball..... Interesting, do 'they' really see LP as that much of a threat, I wonder? If so, why would they take it down now? Just a speculation but it ties back to a tidbit put out by Blackhorse or JackalopeBreeder - Blackhorse I think - that a lot of important people in the Stop the NAU Movement/Minutemen checked LP daily to see what was going on there and to read the comments of some of the Posters. There now appears to be a big push to lock in some of the key points to establishing the NAU - Mexican Trucks are now being allowed in, there was the recent meeting in Canada, and both were exposed and subjected to extreme scrutiny and resulting in a lot of discussion - and the Shills were powerless to stop it. As well since those types of people were visiting there they were also getting exposed to viewpoints that they would never see on Gulag Web Sites like Fraud Rezpublik. Despite the rampaging NeoTrotskyCon Shills information was getting out and Shills were increasingly discredited. There were a lot of people beginning to wake up - I had noticed several former tools who had woken up to what was really going on. In fact a couple, liberator comes to mind, had almost completely left the Dark Side. As well there were a fair number of Freepers who lurked or registered and were getting an eyeful of just how controlled FR is. From the point of view of the information controllers LP was a "problem". The one thing that mind control through information control cannot withstand is the presence of credible alternatives to what the controllers desire people to think. When you control the information people get you control their outlook, but that control is only as good as the absence of credible logical alternatives to their enforced viewpoint.

You will have to really pay attention to the forum, and more importantly watch closely who comes over from there. I realize this site is starting to gain a lot of attention, and because this site is still a place where people can post things freely, it will be a major thorn in the side of those who wish to create consensus, as opposed to allowing freedom of thought, or speech.

I know for sure, indisputably that the American Government monitors and propagandizes on message boards, but Yukon is so painfully bad at it. My guess is he donates his own time because he believes in neoconism. He freely gives his own time for propaganda. LP has been down a long time. Are LPs servers in someones basement or are they hosted by a service? If its a professional service this king of outage just isn't possible.
The problem with that is that you are thinking logically as a person who does not feel threatened in their power by contrary points of view being discussed. You even tolerated BAC up to a point. The people running the show in this country have to be understood for what they are - psychotic control freaks. They do not think as you or I who are willing to support the right to speak of people with whom we vehemently disagree. To that kind of psychotic mindset they are driven even further nuts by people spreading truths which might expose their criminality. The Spook community is even worse - they would classify their Mother's birthday out of their fear and mania against the open and free exchange of information and viewpoints. They have too many crimes sitting right under the surface and are put in mortal fear by the open exchange of true information which sheds light on their crimes. However, I am willing to grant that it might well be a technical problem. However, LP got a brand new Server less than a year ago. Utimately, in the absence of hard data the cause of LP going off line is speculation regarding any scenario.

The mind behind the yukon person was intentionally bad at it. Every now and then he would slip out of persona and make a post that was intelligent. His function was to disrupt - although increasingly people were beginning to ignore his gambits to start a flame war. Although his apparent inability to do simple algebra was an interesting highlight. That is entirely possible as he is an Israel Firster - I also regarded him as a possible "Hasbara".

Yes - I saw that earlier this evening. And your post does make my point. As soon as a new tidbit of disinformation/PsyOps is planted people on the 'net are tearing it apart - it has got to be driving the PsyOps Psych's crazy(er). Their incompetent videos are transparent artifices and every one has had one or more major flaws.

The best people to pay would be the ones that are so obnoxious that they drive people away from sites like LP and this one. I don't think the gov't is paying anybody. There are too many obnoxious people that will do it for free.
I know for a fact the government paid people to monitor web forums, and to post propaganda for the war. But the vast majority are people that do it for free. I'm guessing smaller sites only have the free kind. What I don't understand is why they do it. They seem to have almost no core beliefs. They kind of just go with whatever the Republican party says. Scary.
