My understanding was that it was an existing, unactivated, entity created by Golf with a working title of We the People. When the break with CP occurred, Golf did not create a new forum from scratch, but finished up the long-dormant site-in-progress and opened it for posting. As Columbo, I was among the charter members of the site before it had a name, and subsequently the name No Name was settled upon. I got into a disagreement with Cold Heat about whether WMD were in Iraq. It was on the thread Who Is Lying About Iraq? started by Golfmann on 11/10/2005, quoting an article by Normal Podhoretz. I argued the side that no WMD were found. Golf stepped in to change the subject and when I declined, he banned me (11/15/2005). It appears that the thread has been deleted at NN, but I retain a copy.
It was fun for a while. A lot of changes happened on the board and it seemed to fracture when the Guild members came over from FR. After that, the "posse" spent the bulk of its time attacking each other. Eventually, I also concluded it wasn't worth it and left. I was just going to stop posting and go quietly, but it did not quite work out that way.
Yukon is posting on Freedom Underground (FU).
They're not very pro- Ron Paul, are they?
Yes that is probably more accurate than the way I put it. I didn't mean to sound argumentative. Not surprising. You and I could probably old home week all night though. Water under the bridge and bad memories for me. I did go to the link you provided. I see he has the forum back public and same ole names posting. I enjoyed posting there until I found out you had to be part of an elite group to really belong. Sorry Golfmann chose assholes like Jack Lint over me. His choice, his loss. As I said before, you were one of the better posters. Maybe you intimidated him. I guess he is consistent in his bad choices.

I guess I never did know what happened to you or most for that matter. I wasn't in any loop or back room or part of the gossip chain. I was banned for being a FR supporter. This was after I was banned from FR. I had said I thought JR really believed he was intitled to fair use. I was proven wrong. I conceeded defeat but that was enough to give them amunition against me. Fuz bitched and moaned until MM banned me for being a FR supporter (he never liked me anyway) claiming he wasn't buying my sudden conversion. What sudden conversion? None of them were trust worthy in my opinion. And EveningStar, I trusted him and was his friend until I caught him repeating confidential information. I see he still posts at NN. I always knew he was a pot stirrer but I thought we were friends.

I dont know...you guys are a little extreme with your views. Maybe i will start to look for a new candidate...i heard some good things about that paul ron guy. The only cure for this kind of dissent is a 5/8" drill bit slowly driven into the heel or shoulderblade. It works in Iraq and it'll work here. If Fred says get your ass off the streets...then you get your ass off the streets. Only terrorists are out and about after 1 a.m., everyone knows this.

The way Goldi was recently melting down, ElPee could be permanently gone. There's hope.
Someone was able to do some sort of a "ping" test and see that there was a breakdown along the line. That's all they can do until the experts come back to work tomorrow. Goldi says she has calls in to everyone and left messages everywhere. That's what I was told.
Coppertone and Herp - Former MCDC mods - moved over to mod a new site for a new group. Went to LP to announce new group - things escalated from there with them and Gatlin. It was pretty nasty with threads being hijacked and page long posts and the current post list being full of posts between them all. I think Rhino's thread was called "Yukon is Gay". Gatlin and Rhino are to be re-instated by the end of the week. Unless of course LP has definately ceased to exist.
