Which of the following Republican candidates has the best conservative credentials?

"Compared with Democrats, many Republicans believe in a more robust version of federalism with greater limitations placed upon federal power and a larger role reserved for the States." - from wikipedia

Just food for thought.

Rember what you're all about good Republicans - don't let anyone confuse you with the Democrats.

The question should be ... which of these Republicans has the most American/Constitutional Values ... all Americans would benefit from strict reliance upon the Constitution.

This is true plus I love your tag line and will try harder to more closely follow it's admonishment!

The word Republican candidate and conservative shouldn't be allowed in the same sentence. Neither has any validity. RP shouldn't be associated with the party of big war and odd sexual expression.

I'm still seeing it. RP is at 49%, which means, for all practical purposes, he has as many votes as all the others combined.

His name will never be on a ballot though. Too bad.

On second thought, this country doesn't deserve a man like Ron Paul. Let them eat Hillary.

Godfrey Smith: Mike, I wouldn't worry. Prosperity is just around the corner.
Mike Flaherty: Yeah, it's been there a long time. I wish I knew which corner.

4. Duncan Hunter 1%

5. John McCain 7%

If the Dr. Paul isn't the one selected to be the Republican presidential candidate, what could one make of this other than the Republican party isn't the conservative party any longer?

"I've even suggested that we follow the constitution."
"I believe in spreading democracy, not with guns but rather by example."
