Dr. Paul has been debating (very successfully) his, and America’s, most evil nemesis – Franken-Fed, the economic undead, financial adviser to Satan, destroyer of the middle-class, hypnotizer of politicians, godfather of the mass-media, master of the inflationary universe, promoter of social decay, purveyor of paper-or-plastic, and history’s most gifted warmonger.

I see where Ron Paul has been EXCLUDED from another debate: Victory 2008 Republican Jewish Coalition Candidates Forum. This will be held in Washington on October 16th. What IS interesting to note is who WILL be attending this forum...Guiliani, Thompson, McCain, Romney, and Brownback. Huckabee was also invited, but declined. They're running for President, all right...it's just not President of THIS country. Wonder what the Traditional Values Coalition will make of this, especially considering four of those five 'blew off' their debate the other night?

Thompson, Guiliani, McCain, and Romney couldn't be bothered attending the Christian forum, but THIS one..? "Where do we sign up?"

I wonder why Huckabee declined.

Pope Benedict started out as an academic theologian. I'd be very surprised if he's never had a debate with an atheist.

To reason, indeed, he was not in the habit of attending. His mode of arguing, if it is to be so called, was one not uncommon among dull and stubborn persons, who are accustomed to be surrounded by their inferiors. He asserted a proposition; and, as often as wiser people ventured respectfully to show that it was erroneous, he asserted it again, in exactly the same words, and conceived that, by doing so, he at once disposed of all objections. - Macaulay, "History of England," Vol. 1, Chapter 6, on James II.
