BREAKING! O'Reilly IS Going Bye-Bye. This Time For Real. Maybe. by Steve Young | Sep 20 2007 - 10:11am | article tools: email | print | read more Steve Young

Well, folks - not O'Reilly's Folks...you folks - it's been quite a couple days.

Just after I wrote my mea culpa today for my report yesterday that Bill O'Reilly was losing his show - because a well-placed source told me that he wasn't losing his show - I get word that he IS losing his show. He'll be going home well before the troops...December.

Therefore, I am retracting my mea culpa which included a pledge not to write anything negative about Bill for one full week. So sayng "good riddance" is totally within the breaking of the story...and the breaking of the pledge.

Well, there you have it. I had it right at the start. And now I have it right again.

But just in case, I don' think it would hurt to be prudent.

I not only am standing behind the story, but I am also apologizing for getting it wrong if, in fact, I did.

And no matter how many times I report that Bill is leaving or apologize for saying he that he is when he isn't, one day, I will be right.

And no matter how long that might take, on that day that Bill will no longer be on the radio, I can also report...

All's well that ends well.

Unless it doesn't.

Developing...or not. _______

With all the doom and gloom out there it's nice to here some positive news.

Thanks

O'Reilly's radio show is actually worse that his Fox TV offering. Neither are watchable.

First Art Bell, then Drudge, now O'Reilly.

AM radio is looking up.

I've already said too much.

How the hell does Hannity still have a radio show? He's a no-brainer for a ratings crisis.

Hannity's not as big a problem on my AM presets at night. Drudge has so many stations Sunday night, there's not much of anything else. Same for coast-to- coast after 1 a.m. O'Reilly's on a couple of my presets.
