He's on the right path, in my opinion.

I believe he's right about God.

Religion has almost nothing to do with God, and God has zero to do with religion. It's not one of his creations. Religion is a human creation, used so that leaders could control populations, same as now.

God is great, but religion blows.

No one wants to kill you more than a religious person offended because you don't share his beliefs. Religiosity and Spirituality are polar opposites.
