Ralph Nader, activist, author and lecturer, shared his views in the matter of the "Next Steps for the Peace Movement," at a panel discussion on Oct. 11, 2007. The event was held at Bus Boys and Poets, in Washington, D.C. It was a fundraiser for DemocracyRising.US. For more information, please go to: www.democracyrising.us./ Mr. Nader's latest book is entitled: "The Seventeen Traditions." (more)
That does it for me. Listen to this video and try to understand the reasoning behind the Democrats refusing to impeach Bush and Cheney. I have had it with these clowns.
Me too. I have long suspected what Ralph here talks about to be exactly why there is no impeachment moving forward; Bush and Cheney know how to put a gun to the head of lady Justice and prevent the U.S. Constitution from being adhered to.
Bush called the Constitution, "just another Goddamn piece of paper," and nobody has the nerve to make him eat those words.
Thesis: Official 9/11 story is an unproven conspiracy theory. http://911truth.org http://Justicefor911.org http://summeroftruth.org Probable-cause standards have been met for an unlimited investigation of unsolved crimes relating to the events of Sept. 11, including allegations of criminal negligence, cover-up, complicity or commission of the attacks by US officials and assets of intel services.
If what he said is true, the coup by the WH that was threatened could well happen regardless, if plans go underway to attack Iran. Martial law and suspension of elections (very convenient should Ron Paul be seen as a real threat to get elected) might happen anyways and if so the Democrats will have yet more to answer for. Those who still identify themselves as Democrats will come to the realization that impeachment was still the right thing to do, and will be damned for not doing it when it was still possible.
Democrats and Republicans are just two strains of swine that gorge from the same trough. They may argue back and forth about the hyped-up non-issues of the day, but fundamentally nobody wants to rock the boat and impeach a President for lying us into war or violating constitutional law. It would set a bad example, after all, the Dems wouldn't want to see President Hillary impeached, now would they?
