Nobody ever expects the Inquisition in America. But an American/Brit lawyer for over 50 Guantanamo prisoners, Clive Stafford Smith, says the U.S. now uses Spanish Inquisition methods like strappado (hanging by the wrists) and reverse strappado (behind the back, which dislocates the shoulders).
