Shaved-head black T shirt wearing mayor responds (paraphrasing):"you gotta remember this was someone who was ARRESTED for BURGLARY, he is not an innocent person,.. there was acrimony between the suspect and officer,.. you can't see his face when he was hit... oh, i don't excuse this.. the officer is human.." priceless. With THAT as a mayor, the cops actions aren't surprising.

Law Enforcement Against Prohibition Okay, let's just set aside the fact that the cop in question punched the prick in question. The guy was arrested during the commission of a burglary. DURING THE COMMISSION OF A BURGLARY. The guy was caught in the act of breaking into someone's home. I would wager that the homeowners were scared out of their fucking minds. I would also wager that if this guy broke into any of your houses, he'd either be dead, or you wouldn't have any problems if the cops roughed the fucker up for you. If the guy is caught dead to rights, IN THE COMMISSION OF A BURGLARY, then you know what? The CRIMINAL, in question should consider himself fucking lucky, because I personally would have emptied a clip into his ass, crowbar or no. Breaking into a man's house means your life is fucking forfeit in my book. So, the next one of you people crying about police brutality, think really hard about what you want your cops to do, when some thieving prick breaks into your house and is caught in the act. Are you going to shoot the fucker, letting him bleed out and die, or are you going to let the cops take care of it? I would bet, that in the situation above, 99 percent of you folks who own guns would have shot the intruder, and he'd be fucking dead, which is a far cry from getting punched twice by a cop. I don't advocate police brutality, but I truly do not feel one bit badly about a criminal caught in the act of burglarizing a home, and getting a couple punches from the arm of the law. DO YOU KNOW WHY??? I advocate the outright execution of criminals who break into someone's house. You have no idea what their intentions are, and if they are there to kill you, steal from you, rape you, or your family, your only recourse is to fucking kill them to protect yourself, and those you care about. That is the only way you can truly deter criminal behavior, is to make criminals pay with their lives.

If you approve of cops hitting suspects, or even hitting admitted criminals, at least let them have the guts to brawl with them on an even scale.; take off the handcuffs and don't charge with with more crimes when they get a hit in on the cop. "but only let the cops smack em when they're guilty, or when they deserve it". Cops don't have that authority nor should they. that is not their job. if you or I went around hitting folks that pissed us off we might be doing it every day. We couldn't get away with it, and neither should cops, especially since they're under the color of authority. Neither the state, nor their minions, have a right to do this to people.
