I hate to admit it, but I loved them when I was a kid. I had no clue it was all stolen from old English vaudeville, they were just catchy songs. Really stupid catchy songs. I got into the Animals, Righteous Bros., Dave Clark Five and not long thereafter the psychedelic stuff and left them behind. But when my singles collection got stolen when we moved, I had about 10 of their singles in my collection.

But Jesus, Peter Noone made Davy Jones look like a ruff-tuff macho man.
