A few months ago, we had a lot of GARBAGE posts on the right sidebar. They were all FRIVOLOUS stories about Ron Paul. Up until today I liked him. But his supporters have come here to spam LP, and now I DON'T like HIM or THEM. I was reasonable in the past and asked that articles be posted here that were NEWSWORTHY ABOUT HIM, WITH A LIMIT OF 2 A DAY. Just this evening, there were 13 posted. THIRTEEN!!! And not ONE of them had anything newsworthy to report. All of them were of the variety: "Alert, Ron Paul just scratched his crotch!!" Or "Ron Paul stepped in dogs**t". The supporters of Ron Paul have PROVEN that they cannot control themselves. "Reasonable" is not a word in their vocabulary. So, due to their IRRESPONSIBLE and IRRATIONAL behavior, their SPAMMING of Liberty Post...I have made a decision: FROM THE TIME THIS IS POSTED...NO RON PAUL ARTICLES ARE TO BE POSTED HERE AT ALL. EVER. (ONE EXCEPTION: IF HE GETS ASSASSINATED OR SOMETHING SIMILAR AND IS 24/7 ON ALL NEWS CHANNELS. [Probability is less than zero on that.]) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Paulites: You did it to yourself. Not me. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Our bandwidth has gone from $240 to $365 for the past two months, and it has depleted our funds to negative zero. Which means I have to pony it up....and will need to run a fundraiser SOONER because of it. Face it folks, they stole it from YOU!! The contributors of LP!! I don't think those who contributed money to keep LP up and running meant for it to be used for some stupid unreasonble spammers to run amok on. So, just to be clear.... NO MORE ARTICLES ABOUT RON PAUL ARE PERMITED ON THIS WEBSITE. VIOLATORS WILL BE BANNED. NOT EVEN ONE NOT EVEN TWO ZERO!!! If this thread gets out of control...it goes to the Biker Bar or will be REPOSTED without the remarks, and the remarks will be removed. Note: For those who feel that they cannot stay on LP due to this decision: Sorry, but that's the way it is. Find or FUND someplace that is all Paul all the time. The abuse of LP ends today. I don't care who likes it or not. You've made your bed, now you get to sleep in it. This decision is NOT open for discussion. This is a "command decision" or what ever you choose to call it: Edict; directive; command, whatever. It is what it is. A RULE. And I don't care if you hate me or not.

Sounds like her math assumes that everyone has heard of Ron Paul. Surprisingly, that's not yet the case. What she says is that it is 'possible' that the intensity of RP's GOP supporters is so great that they would come to vote in primaries en masse while everybody else's supporters are going to be demoralized and apathetic. This is a lot of wishful thinking. I believe that Buchanan got away with something like this ONCE and Dean couldn't win even one of his party's contests even though his supporters were quite enthusiastic.

The only problem with that place is the possibility of another US invasion, possibly preceded by a little bit of carpet bombing or maybe some nice cruise missiles landings. But, then again, I had a nice B-2 flying at less than 2-3000 ft over my house a couple of months ago so... it could happen anywhere.

Someone just posted an ancient thread by Goldi in which she's bitching about TOS-1 pulling a thread of hers concerning a Bildeberg meeting. My, my how times change.
So she's bitching that her site is becoming more popular eh? Well with her latest action, I think she's sort of guaranteed not to have to worry about that for much longer. If she truly wanted to eliminate a huge amount of senseless spam, she'd immediately ban ByteShredder and sardine sandwich. Since she gives each of those trolls free reign over her forum and allows them to harrass and intimidate other posters on her forum whenever they wish, we can see that she has no concern about bandwidth or rules.

She has to be well aware that sardine sandwich/happy fun balls/cone of silence/etc. is the same person, and IF she wanted to, could easily see that he's a returning bannee and get rid of him immediately once he signs back up Obviously, that is not in her plans. And just as obvious is how she overlooks byteshredder's continuous spamming of her forum, his obscene personal attacks against other posters on a regular basis, and his total disregard for the forum rules. They are certainly "protected" posters.

I sometimes wonder if Fun Balls/sardine/boilerplate et al is actually Goldi. The character has the run of the place and seems to have access to an unlimited number of name changes. Goldi periodically goes through the charade of banning the character to keep the board happy, but as you noted, the character immediately pops up again with a new name. Given that Fun Balls is about as hard to spot as byeltsin, I'm sure Goldi knows what is going on.

Well if she can't tell that they are all one and the same person, she's dumb as a stump. Everyone else knows who it is. It's not brain surgury. Their posting style and mannerisms are exactly the same.
A couple of us were tossing that possibility around last night. I went to LP and mentioned that 'sardine sandwich' MIGHT be a woman, but nobody rose to the bait...

Good point. IMHO, Longnose gar's only purpose here is to try and get banned. He's been reading our comments about the LP situation and wants to get banned so he can say to himself or others, "what a bunch of hypocrites."

She worked on the now retired F14 fighter which we are or have destroyed instead of mathballing. I guess because all the billions we spent on them was chump change and trivial. I know that I don't wish her ill and hope she gets employment, but I would fire her as torch holder for free speech at LP. She is more like a 'PU, something stinks,' then an LP owner, defender of freedom of speech and home of the town crier for discussion of news and events that efect us all.

I dont wish her ill either.. far from it. I hope she prospers financially .. and life treats her well. On the free speech issue..on that I do take issue .. for its one thing to say your site is for free exchange of ideas and discussion quite another if in practice it's the opposite.. People make mistakes in judgment but its one thing to make an error but.. this IMHO is not an error in judgment but was done with eyes wide open.. we here at 4 get criticized from time to time because we allow free speech and open discussion here.. what is funny is that I see similar posts on LP but does anyone attack that site in the same manner? No.. seems people talk their BS about free speech then turn around and criticize those who actually walk the walk so to speak.. They use all types of ridiculous accusations and toss around personal attacks accuse us with all types of trash and name calling.. Yawn.. let them rant.. it reveals more about them than it does us. We will continue to permit free expression for where does one draw the line? Its not for us to be the thought police..

Goldi banned aristeides and never gave the reason why (because there was no good reason). She knows exactly what she's doing, and it has nothing to do with liberty.

She gave one reason.. which was so bizarre that Im still shaking my head over it..something about aristeides linking to a site I believe it was farsi not sure but accused him of linking to site that could be thought to be a terrorist site.. what on earth was that?
Goldi banned me from posting articles after I posted Riverbend's entry discussing a Baghdad Sunni girl being raped by some progov Shias. She also removed the thread. I am trying not to trash other sites or personally attack other people but that was quite bizarre.

There were also some videos posted about some women who were raped by US soldiers.. I think I recall her saying it was from a porn site.. if I remember correctly there were two videos.. and IMO they were videos from Iraq..
The 4um recruitment drive over on LP has paid off. Many new posters have registered on 4um over the past couple of days. But so far, no one is posting. I heard there might be a welcome thread tomorrow evening where the newbys can come on and try out the place.
It's not terrorism when the Israelis do it.
