A few months ago, we had a lot of GARBAGE posts on the right sidebar. They were all FRIVOLOUS stories about Ron Paul.

Up until today I liked him.

But his supporters have come here to spam LP, and now I DON'T like HIM or THEM.

I was reasonable in the past and asked that articles be posted here that were NEWSWORTHY ABOUT HIM, WITH A LIMIT OF 2 A DAY.

Just this evening, there were 13 posted. THIRTEEN!!! And not ONE of them had anything newsworthy to report.

All of them were of the variety: "Alert, Ron Paul just scratched his crotch!!" Or "Ron Paul stepped in dogs**t".

The supporters of Ron Paul have PROVEN that they cannot control themselves. "Reasonable" is not a word in their vocabulary.

So, due to their IRRESPONSIBLE and IRRATIONAL behavior, their SPAMMING of Liberty Post...I have made a decision:

FROM THE TIME THIS IS POSTED...NO RON PAUL ARTICLES ARE TO BE POSTED HERE AT ALL. EVER. (ONE EXCEPTION: IF HE GETS ASSASSINATED OR SOMETHING SIMILAR AND IS 24/7 ON ALL NEWS CHANNELS. [Probability is less than zero on that.]) ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Our bandwidth has gone from $240 to $365 for the past two months, and it has depleted our funds to negative zero. Which means I have to pony it up....and will need to run a fundraiser SOONER because of it.

Face it folks, they stole it from YOU!! The contributors of LP!!

I don't think those who contributed money to keep LP up and running meant for it to be used for some stupid unreasonble spammers to run amok on.

Note: For those who feel that they cannot stay on LP due to this decision: Sorry, but that's the way it is. Find or FUND someplace that is all Paul all the time. The abuse of LP ends today. I don't care who likes it or not. You've made your bed, now you get to sleep in it. This decision is NOT open for discussion. This is a "command decision" or what ever you choose to call it: Edict; directive; command, whatever. It is what it is. A RULE. And I don't care if you hate me or not.

I have to admit that a lot of Ron Paul articles are trivial and deal with minutia. I have no desire to see Ron Paul turned into an object of veneration like Bush is at Freakerland. He is a man. Yes- I am excited by his candidacy. Yes- I think he is right on most of the issues. But he is a man. One man. I don't need to know about every online poll. I don't need to know about his every appearence. General news forums shouldn't be clogged up with the daily doings of Ron Paul. Neither should they be clogged up with idiotic anti Paul posts and vanities (which is most of what is posted on LP by the way).

I used to visit the Lew Rockwell blog several times a day- but 90 percent of what they blog about is Ron Paul now- non effing stop- nearly every post. Snoooooze. I visit less now.

Look, Ron Paul is an exciting outside the Beltway candidate who is principled and refreshing. I am glad he is running. But frankly- our Mega DC government is way past the point where any one man can do much to reform it, reel it in, or even effect it that much. There is something a bit off- about a bunch of libertarians and old rightists who don't think the Presidency should have that much power- who constantly complain about how that branch has grown outside of all proportion- who bitch about people looking at the Presidency as some sort of Savior God King seat- cheering on a man night and day running for that seat- like any BOT or Demhead does for their two party fraud candidate.

I respectfully disagree with your observation. Everything you say about Ron Paul above, I agree with except one man can and many 'one man' has proven how much effect and control they have over people, government, courts, economy, and the destruction of our Conxtitution and our civil liberties.

When you have a gutless nitwit sitting on the throne in the Whitehouse, a real dummy, he can be led around by the nose, make decisions for or against legislation that effects us all. I guess hoodwinked would fit the operative here. Then you vote in someone like Ron Paul, a real statesman, intlligent, honest, and steadfast in his principles, it sure as hell effects everything and everyone, not only in our country, but throughout the world. Look how farreaching the Ron Paul reveloution is becomming. Citizens of other countries are pulling for his election, That shoul tell us all a lot about how one man can make a difference; be the difference.

I grant you bush didn't make all the decisions himself, but he is not capable nor really qualified to be sitting in that chair in the Whitehous. To him it is a chance to continue being a cowboy. Then there is the dick cheney who is one man who is really running the show and he is nothing short of pure evil. Does this one evil man have an effect on our lives? This one man Satan?

bush is happy playing the role of president while those who only have their own interests at heart are running roughshod over our lives, the laws of our country and terrorising us and the world. Elect a Ron Paul and you can bet your sister's cat's ass things would change and an 180 degree turn would happen. Not all at once of course, but the scurge foisted upon U.S. would be on the defensive and eventually reversed. Then you would begin to see the right people being rounded up, put in jail, waterboarded, tortured, and put on trial for all their crimes. I do believe a Ron Paul presidency would see one man clean up this tyranny that now rules over us.

A tyranical dictator acting thug like we now have (pick your personal tyrant) says don't do as I do, do as I say. A one man show like Ron Paul will roll up his sleeves, pitch in and help undo(throw out the shit), leading by example and that my friend will make the wheels go round instead of falling off the wagon. Ron Paul doesn't want to be a pretend president. He knows one man can't do it all by himself. But he damn well knows he can lead by example, not only here at home, but in our dealings with the rest of the world.

With Ron Paul, the buck stops at his desk, not with BIG OIL or defense contractors! He's the real deal. THE ONE MAN!!!!

yes, and RP's message is resonating with WE THE PEOPLE. the fear i have is that our votes aren't counted and the fix is already in. unless there truly was a massive revolution that the PTB could not hide or control.
