There's a lot of conflict on LibertyPost right now regarding Goldi's new Ron Paul rule. A lot of people think its unfair to ban discussion of a particular candidate - and it probably is.

I have a suggestion for solving the problem. Goldi should just ban all political discussion on Libertypost. Discussion should be limited to a bunch of guys sitting around calling each other fags and muzbots - and maybe telling each other to shut up.

This would be fair to everyone and it wouldn't really change the content of the site that much.

I would be curious to hear what others think of this.

They are pissed, that the people who use the Internet for their main communication/news/networking, support Ron Paul.

They should get over it already. The other candidates are too stupid to utilize this power, are frauds, and their supporters are old and clueless. There is no spamming, it's popular opinion within a demographic.

Either except this as fact, or crawl in a hole.

I think Ron Paul sums it up best himself: you can't make these things happen by design. People have to love your message already. LP before the 2008 campaign got started is written like a Ron Paul position index.

You got it exactly. Goldi is pissed because the platform is not pro-funding Israel. But every other platform point is exactly what she has been yelling about for years.

There is no talking head in ANY of this, it's all run by individuals in the MeetUp community. I have not received ONE email from the headquarters, telling me what to do.

They can't handle it. It's completely out of their control.

I was born free, and I will die free. I have chosen to support Ron Paul because he speaks the language of liberty. I think most of us do.
