There's a lot of conflict on LibertyPost right now regarding Goldi's new Ron Paul rule. A lot of people think its unfair to ban discussion of a particular candidate - and it probably is. I have a suggestion for solving the problem. Goldi should just ban all political discussion on Libertypost. Discussion should be limited to a bunch of guys sitting around calling each other fags and muzbots - and maybe telling each other to shut up. This would be fair to everyone and it wouldn't really change the content of the site that much. I would be curious to hear what others think of this.

I thought it was a given, but luckily was asked to sign a petition to get him on the ballot after being told he wasn't and I needed to sign... Do you have a Ron Paul meetup group in your county?

I don't know now, I thought it was a given too. Last time I checked they did, it was like five or six people with no meetings scheduled, but that's been a month or so ago.

Why did palo leave?
They are pissed, that the people who use the Internet for their main communication/news/networking, support Ron Paul. They should get over it already. The other candidates are too stupid to utilize this power, are frauds, and their supporters are old and clueless. There is no spamming, it's popular opinion within a demographic. Either except this as fact, or crawl in a hole.

You got it exactly. Goldi is pissed because the platform is not pro-funding Israel. But every other platform point is exactly what she has been yelling about for years. There is no talking head in ANY of this, it's all run by individuals in the MeetUp community. I have not received ONE email from the headquarters, telling me what to do. They can't handle it. It's completely out of their control.
