There's a lot of conflict on LibertyPost right now regarding Goldi's new Ron Paul rule. A lot of people think its unfair to ban discussion of a particular candidate - and it probably is. I have a suggestion for solving the problem. Goldi should just ban all political discussion on Libertypost. Discussion should be limited to a bunch of guys sitting around calling each other fags and muzbots - and maybe telling each other to shut up. This would be fair to everyone and it wouldn't really change the content of the site that much. I would be curious to hear what others think of this.

I never saw the problem with it. The software here is fast enough to allow multiple posts on multiple threads to be executed concurrently. Why do some people interpret you and I discussing something they don't care about as though we are preventing them from discussing something they do care about? It's no good getting all in a snit about snoots.

Swimming around in my bourbon highball..... I never took him seriously enough to warrant more that a "Whatever, Tommy", but I'm not going to knock him. His posts to D'Anconia today were righteous. Some people take these forums far too seriously, like they are part of their resume or something. Ok, for a few people they surely are, but I'll stake my reputation as a hard core kook that Minnesota Mad Artists aren't among the chosen few.

I went and looked to, it was a great response to what Goldi did. I consider the place past business too.
I was born free, and I will die free. I have chosen to support Ron Paul because he speaks the language of liberty. I think most of us do.
When I was almost ready to sign up at LibertyPost I found out I couldn't use a free web-based email address, and that to me right away indicated that the place was elitist. Then I came over to Freedom4um.com and my web-based email address was accepted. Gee whiz!
