That's understandable, it took me 3 years to see it that way. If you've had a chance to read about the CIA "family jewels" that were released over the summer, you might have read about some of the evil stuff our govt did in the 50s and 60s; including altering the mind of a four year old. The CIA has admitted to this publicly now. Also offering the mafia $150K to assassinate Fidel. And other nefarious deeds.

You can be sure the CIA did not just stop these types of operations, they only improved upon them.

Next come all the facts as we know them, and looking at them in a meaningful way. We do that here on 4um. I hope you read some of those threads, watch some of the videos and at least consider the ideas.

Didn't see it, but it doesn't surprise me. Whatever we see happening in England is the predecessor of what we can expect to see here. Once an "enemy of the state" is identified, that information is passed throughout the world, regardless of which "state" considers that person to be an enemy.

I'm here because LP announced that Ron Paul threads were forbidden. It seems that everywhere you look today there are 'conservatives' who do not want to limit the federal government, and who refuse to discuss the roots of our problems.

That is due to a couple of problems.. of course they aren't 'conservatives' whatsover.. they're neoconservatives..which is a misnomer .. also they refuse to see it b/c they are the cause...

It yanked open my eyes to a lot of things, that's for sure. I have the next day's New York Times still wrapped in plastic, explaining how the transformers in the basement blew and caused the fire. Which I found quite disturbing, considering that when we got the evacuation order 5 minutes after the explosion, we knew it was a bomb. It was surreal to me, after I got home, watching CNN, seeing them explain confidently something I knew to be absolutely untrue.

One little known fact about that event is that the explosion occurred in the CIA section of the parking garage. Interesting, eh?

Whoops, scratch that about the Times. The Times did say it was "suspected" to be a bomb. It was CNN that had all the pretty graphics about transformers blowing up, at a time when pretty much every one of the 50,000+ survivors knew it was a bomb.

It seems that everywhere you look today there are 'conservatives' who do not want to limit the federal government, and who refuse to discuss the roots of our problems.

I've come to believe that all elections are a contest between the following factions:

1) Government Employees
2) Corporate Recipients of Government Largess
3) Direct Recipients of Government Largess
4) Morons who would overdose on aspirin without constant supervision from a social worker
5) Why not...The Lobby!
6) Fire Department of New York City
7) National Taxpayers Union...

And the people who giggle like little girls whilst listening to early Frank Zappa recordings.
