let's invite these cool people (Look at who Artisan managed to attract wearing that awful mask!) You guys really should show up at the next 9/11 Truth march.
Question about the 9/11 truth movement: Do "truthers" in general believe that 9/11 is a conspiracy by the government, or is it simply a belief that the official version of events is false, without asserting a specific alternate explanation?
The latter is easier to prove, but I would say most believe that 9/11 is a conspiracy by (some part of) the govt.
I know for certain that the official report is utter garbage - pretty much none of the members of the commission had any business being on the commission due to severe conflict of interest, most especially Gorelick - but the government conspiracy angle kind of turns me off.
I know many focus on the issue re the physics of the buildings etc.. the anomalies but for me.. what makes me take notice is what both Sibel Edmonds has said as well as Indira Singh .. extremely troublesome IMO
I'm skeptical, but I look forward to discussing the topic with you in more detail in a more appropriate thread.
We are a diverse group and welcome new insight and ideas. But expect some good arguments on a few topics ;)

Wow! Then your thoughts would be most interesting. Actually another look at that event could prove illuminating.
It yanked open my eyes to a lot of things, that's for sure. I have the next day's New York Times still wrapped in plastic, explaining how the transformers in the basement blew and caused the fire. Which I found quite disturbing, considering that when we got the evacuation order 5 minutes after the explosion, we knew it was a bomb. It was surreal to me, after I got home, watching CNN, seeing them explain confidently something I knew to be absolutely untrue. One little known fact about that event is that the explosion occurred in the CIA section of the parking garage. Interesting, eh?
Building 7?
Underneath Tower 1 (North Tower)/Millenium Hotel. Building 7 was the equivalent of three city blocks north of there.
Now I'm confused, as I thought the CIA were located in Bldg. 7. Did they also have offices in Tower 1?
No idea. All I know is that back in 1993 when the place was bombed, they had a section of the parking garage beneath the north tower. I wouldn't be terribly surprised if they moved their assets afterwards.
Doesn't seem to have done them much good, although at least they were evacuated prior to the "collapse" of Bldg. 7.
