AuntB is out of control as well.

You wanna talk about a person who changed almost overnight! She used to be a real nice person who was as concerned about the loss of liberties as the next guy. Then all of a sudden she became this shrill Duncan Hunter groupie and focused all of her energy on slamming Ron Paul. As if his supporters would actually support Hunter, a friggin' authoritarian warmonger who's never seen an amendment he wasn't willing to piss on. And she makes up or takes out of context alot of what she posts.
Someone should apply and try to make some money on it to see how it works. See if they get any pay offers from the GOP or specific campaigns, or even the "Fair and Balanced", "We report, you decide" folks.

I was just browsing LP. It seems like that Bush Fan guy posted a bunch of articles about CFRed and Julie-Annie and has the bots all in an uproar. They're claiming he's a Ron Paul supporter trying to piss off Goldi-Lox. I find this strange because he's been touting these two sionce the day he arrived on LP. They've complained to Goldi. It would appear that they are trying to make it where only Hunter articles can be posted.

We just had an earthquake hit central Ecuador. 6.x near Ambato. We felt it here in Guayaquil about 200 miles away. They say no damage. That was my second life experience tremor, the first being a softer, quicker shake about a month ago.

Just a nice little shocker. It does get your attention though. We had one hear last year (Oregon) that slammed into the house like an explosive shockwave. I thought it was going to take the house off of its foundation. My personal favorite was as a kid in Seattle - the Alaskan Earthquake. It was above 8 in Alaska and was either 7.2 or 7.4 in Seattle. I still remember my Mom yelling at us kids to stand in the doorways till the quake passed. Definitely an interesting experience. I was in a bigger one in Montana when I was younger, but actually slept through it. That one created Earthquake Lake in Yellowstone.

I had just gotten out of the shower. Our small chandalier was swinging along with the pictures on the wall. Took a couple minutes for the swinging to stop.

I remember being on-line with Independent Conservative when she was going through an earthquake in California. What ever happened to her? She left at the same time Palo left LP as they were friends.
They can be a bit unsettling. Good for shaking the dust loose though. I can't say that I take them for granted but I am fatalistic about them, and fascinated with them - just the way you might be fascinated by anything which is potentially dangerous. It was interesting that while I was living in So. Cal. that I am one of those people who feel them coming before they hit. I learned that one afternoon when we had a 5.6 hit - a nice little shake, but as I was setting at my desk I found myself thinking "this is not it" there is going to be another one, and sure as shootin' about 20 minutes later we got a 4.7 aftershock. Kind of freaky. I had heard of individuals who were Earthquake sensitives but had no idea I had even a trace of the talent.
