Having been banned from Liberty Post hasn't stopped me from visiting occaisionally, watching the animals feed, and being alternately saddened and amused. Thus the title of this thread as watching what is occurring is like watching a Train running into a Sewer.

With some of their chief opponents gone the 'bots and shills seem to be redoubling their efforts to load El Pee down with various types of noxious effluvium. A quick look at the "topics" under discussion, now that only anti-Ron Paul Threads are allowed, reads like a pornucopia of Spin, Disinformation, and more Spin. While some of the titles seem superficially interesting when one deals with the substance of the debates there is largely no substance. What you see is the various, 'bots, shills, and paid spin artists dominating and presenting only the "approved" Party Lyin', engaging in incivility and flame, and providing a degree of substance that would not be out of place on a Third Grade Playground. Yukon is there with the usual Party Lyin' and personal attacks, 'botshiller is present and accounted for posting anti-freedom pro-Israel Spam - again no substance just vituperation. All working together to turn El Pee into even more of a sewer of hate, disinformation, and vacuity.

Of course there are still a few decent people there trying to hold ground agains the various disinformation artistes' but largely they are making the mistake of trying to simply convince the 'bots to see reason. Agenda Posters, and paid shills, could care less about reason. It is not part of their mandate. They are there to "catapult the propaganda" and to PREVENT substantive reasoned debate. Evidently Goldi-Pox approves as primarily the only people she has banned were people standing up on principle and presenting reasoned arguments (of course since those arguments addressed the reasons for her imposition of censorship she did find them discomfiting, but she lacks the courage and integrity to address them forthrightly).

I really should thank Goldi-Pox for banning me and getting me out of her private sewer. She is quite welcome to wallow in the filth. I guess it takes all kinds although their reason for existence does sometimes seem elusive.

You want to talk about someone who's changed over the years, that would be RLKK. He was laid off from his engineering job four or five years ago and it has turned him into a bitter old man filled with hate. He's a pathetic little man.

“Redemption”
Johnny Cash

From the hands it came down
From the side it came down
From the feet it came down
And ran to the ground
Between heaven and hell

A teardrop fell
In the deep crimson dew
The tree of life grew

And the blood gave life
To the branches of the tree
And the blood was the price
That set the captives free
And the numbers that came

Through the fire and the flood
Clung to the tree
And were redeemed by the blood

From the tree streamed a light
That started the fight
‘Round the tree grew a vine
On whose fruit I could dine
My old friend Lucifer came

Fought to keep me in chains
But I saw through the tricks
Of six-sixty-six

And the blood gave life
To the branches of the tree
And the blood was the price
That set the captives free
And the numbers that came

Through the fire and the flood
Clung to the tree
And were redeemed by the blood

From his hands it came down
From his side it came down
From his feet it came down
And ran to the ground
And a small inner voice

Said “You do have a choice.”
The vine engrafted me
And I clung to the tree

And the blood gave life
To the branches of the tree
And the blood was the price
That set the captives free
And with the numbers that came

Through the fire and the flood
I clung to the tree
And was redeemed by the blood

and it just struck me, after visiting a few threads where I found the topic of interest, from reading the commentary and posts of the various people just how hostile Liberty Post is to intelligent and reasoned discourse.

Not trying to be disrespectful, but that's exactly what many of us learned from FreeRepublic about a week after 911.

Oh, that's fine. However, I did not start posting anywhere until after 911. I think it was the obviousness of the fact that the only thing that accounted for all of the evidence was "inside job".

Since then I've been wised up just a tad. El Pee has had some ups and downs, but until recently it was pretty much a free speech forum and I enjoyed making monkeys out of the 'bots and using them to make my own points while underscoring the ridiculousness of the Party Lyin'. However, the current scene at Liberty Post is degenerating even further into a 1984 type forum. With the banning of myself and 2012 the balance has been tilted in favor of the 'bots. I suspect that either Goldi is going schizoid, has been dishonest for some time, or both.

My only amusement is that I lasted as long as I did without Goldi finding some pretext to get rid of me.

One big difference between LP and this site is that although there were plenty of 9/11 threads there, it apparently was always bickering, with the skeptics there being rather lame, juvenile and otherwise clonish, eager to bring all sorts of non-9/11 issues into it. Lots of disinfo repeats like "the pentagon plane couldn't turn that sharp without pulling six gees of force" -- ridiculous crap like that.

This site has, in contrast, some highly detailed discussions of the 9/11 physical record, the physics of the collapsees and such.

If this were my site I wouldn't run it any differently. Except into the ground through lackadaisical indifference to everyday affairs, but that's a topic best left somewhere else.

Yes, yuktard and Beachooser were both big Official Disinfo Lyin' advocates. The one advantage to that though is that it does make you examine your arguments and you learn quickly how to counter the common disinfo lyin's. It is useful when talking to someone who believes the Lamestream Media.

Thanks. That was always a lot of fun, and the 'bots did not like it one little bit. Several tried to convince me to stop doing it - whereupon I knew I had hit on something they could not counter. Unfortunately, after getting hit with it too many times, they simply started trying to avoid me since they knew they had no tactic to counter what they would get hit back with. After that I had to play "Search and Destroy".

Mr. Dictionary is our friend.

I love the english language because it offers so many ways to express ones self.

Of course I have read too many high falutin' books too.

If I were a real rat I might write something full of ponderously pretentious polysyllables propounding and pontificating along a parlous line of reasoning seeking more to obfuscate and infuriate that to enlighten, but then you might want to hit me.

However, I prefer to eschew obfuscation.

As far as the cesspool we fondly refer to as ElPee, looking at it from a spectator's viewpoint really opens your eyes and makes you wonder why anyone would want to visit that forum these days. With Goldi's recent bannings and censorship, we've gained some good people from her forum, and the influx of new voices makes this forum stronger.

As a lawyer, I wish to point out how it has been the lawyers who have been sticking up for the rule of law in Pakistan.

Lawyers raise a voice in Pakistan.

To reason, indeed, he was not in the habit of attending. His mode of arguing, if it is to be so called, was one not uncommon among dull and stubborn persons, who are accustomed to be surrounded by their inferiors. He asserted a proposition; and, as often as wiser people ventured respectfully to show that it was erroneous, he asserted it again, in exactly the same words, and conceived that, by doing so, he at once disposed of all objections. - Macaulay, "History of England," Vol. 1, Chapter 6, on James II.

As well that Goldi is playing a hidden game becomes more apparent. I suspected as much for some time, but the latest dust-up pretty well confirms it. Whether one of her own devising or by direction from above she is busily making intelligent discussion impossible. Note that the various 'bots and disruptors are never banned - particularly if they are an Israel Firster.

I would have left a long time ago if I didn't enjoy 'bot tossing and throwing the hypocrisy of her Golden Calf, Israel, back in her face.

With Goldi's recent bannings and censorship, we've gained some good people from her forum, and the influx of new voices makes this forum stronger.

Her loss, our gain.

That just has to frost her Brass plated gizzard - doubly so since we have the freedom to illustrate her hypocrisy and dishonesty and she can do nothing to halt it.

With Neil McIver/Pinguinite holding her feet to the fire she doesn't know whether to shit or go blind. If she bans him, which I am sure she would love to do, it makes it obvious that what she is engaging in is censorship of a political view - which is diametrically opposed to the misrepresentation on El Pee's Home Page.

Too bad they aren't sticking up for the rule of law in the United States of AmeriKa..
