Amnesty International have just released a truly powerful film to coincide with the official launch of the unsubscribe campaign.
This film shows a performance artist undergoing, for real, interrogation techniques permitted in the CIA handbook.

Waiting For The Guards is the first of 3 films commissioned by Amnesty to highlight the enhanced interrogation techniques used by the CIA in the “War on Terror”.
The Directors approached the making of the film in a way that has never been done before, choosing to show the reality of Stress Positions in as authentic a way as possible. They filmed a person being put into Stress Positions over a 6 hour period. There is no acting on the part of the “prisoner” – his pain and anguish is for real.
This powerful film shows without doubt that what the US administrations say is interrogation is in reality, torture and must be stopped.
We’ve released the film on the Internet before going to theatrical release in independent cinemas in early 2008. We believe this film is a great introduction to what the unsubscribe movement is all about, so we ask you to get the movie out there, in any way you can.
The more people see it. The more people will be compelled to unsubscribe.

Very powerful as were the indidual's interviews. One who "unsubscribes" I'm sure will find themselves on the no fly list, as will anyone who complains to their Senator, etc. We are now living in Nazi Germany. Thank you for this post.

Not yet. It's somewhat similar to the late Weimar Republic, and there's genuine legislation on the books that destroys our Constitution on paper. It has not yet been fully implemented. Millions of Americans are waking up. Millions of Americans are starting to look around them. We are in danger, but we are not asleep the way the Germans were. We understand that when our President calls the Minute Men vigilantes he is attacking all of us. We understand that when he lies about bills like the summer Amnesty fiasco, he is attacking all of us. We understand that when the President signs multilateral agreements with other countries diminishing our sovereignty, he is attacking all of us. And we understand that when Blackwater troops fire at citizens in NOLA, and aid in the disarming of law-abiding Americans, the President through the Executive Branch is attacking all of us. And we've been prepared for this all of our lives.
Who would want to fly anyhow? Where are you gonna "run" to? The agenda being put in place is a GLOBAL agenda. The best way to "unsubscribe" is to quit participating in the FICTION they've created for us, and then respond to any attempt they make at FORCING us back INTO their FICTION by treating it as the WAR they they would be declaring - with the use of hot lead.
America is at that awkward stage. It's too late to work within the system, but too early to shoot the bastards. On the road to tyranny, we've gone so far that polite political action is about as useless as a miniskirt in a convent.
