I just tried to purchase air tickets to Nadi, Fiji, then to Brisbane Australia to see my eighty three year old father, and as the agent for Air Pacific put it "you have been bitten by the crocodile".

He ran my passport numbers in their system and it came up No Fly.

It has to be the US State Department, because Australia knows nothing about me.

The only thing I can think of is my political posting here at 4um. How they could get my identity is easy enough to see given the news of Yahoo and google .

The Australian Embassy in Los Angles is closed today, but on Monday I hope to clear it up.

Our society is closing around us daily. And They Hate Us Because Were Free.

No doubt it's a case of mistaken identity. The weekend is long time to wait for answers. Perhaps you might feel a bit re-assured by reading the transcript of an episode entitled "Nuts" from Boston Legal or renting it on DVD. I saw the episode when it was originally aired and it was pretty darn good. These Hollywood legal shows ( Law& Order, CSI, Boston Legal) typically get inspirations for their scripts from real life headlines/events. Enjoy! And I wish you the best come Monday.
