Mitt is one scary kook.

Maybe Paul didn't do as well as we hoped he would, but at least he didn't destroy his campaign.

Also, the way Dr. Paul was mostly ignored, will only energize his campaign. A place to channel the anger.

I'm not so sure about that. A lot of viewers probably responded positively to the pro-war messages being dropped by candidates all around Ron Paul, and found insufficient information to sway their opinions in the few sentences Ron Paul could manage to articulate.

We need to find a way to reach these people.

How about walking-around money?

I don't think we can reach the pro-war. But most Americans want US out of Iraq.

No, I think any victory purchased that way would be hollow. We need to win by persuasion. That's what I'm looking for: a way to reach people through the haze of Establishment-influenced media.

I think you're getting close, robin. But you're too pessimistic. I changed my mind on it. My change came when I realized that the illegal immigration problem was going unsolved because the political elite were waging a domestic war against traditional American values.

Most Americans want the US out of Iraq. I think we have to drive home the reasons why the Iraq war is not patriotic, and how it enables the theft of our economic strength to continue. Also, how it permits fear to be used as a tool for holding the attention of the American people.

Also, we see that the MSM allowed the FAIR tax to distract the audience into thinking that Huckabee and other GOP candidates are against the IRS. They're really just trying to shuffle the source of federal revenue around.

I think for me, it's finding a way to cut through the haze of the MSM's interventionist, tax and spend, domestic policy of fear that I'm seeking.

Don't Americans want to be reminded that confidence and fearlessness are central to their ideal way of life?

The false crisis has a false solution. Maybe this is the most important message.

As Ron Paul said, the message in its simplest form is very powerful. Limited government, return rights to the people, strengthen your wallet, mind our own business. At its core, it is essentially the same message Ronald Reagan used. People vehemently disagreed with Reagan on lots of things. Just as I am sure folks passionately disagree with Paul on some things.

Paul said it on Leno, he has his shortcomings. The message doesn't. Just stick to the message. We don't need to reinvent the wheel. Just continue to present it in a hopeful, peaceful, but firm manner, and people will listen. Just my 2 cents.
