Give him 30 seconds to answer a question and he stumbles, a lot.

I noticed all the other guys kept getting 90 seconds, but RP only got 30 seconds. Why was that?

I missed the beginning... did he ever get 90 seconds to answer a question tonight?

Ron Paul bags another debate By: Steve Adcock | Submitted on: 11/28/07

EDITORIAL - The CNN/YouTube debate Wednesday evening surfaced another opportunity for the majority of the candidates to re-hash many of the same failed policies of the current administration and provide non-answers to many of the direct questions asked, but it also gave Ron Paul an opportunity to educate Arizona Senator John McCain on who exactly the military is giving their money to.

In response to John McCain politicizing his recent trip to Iraq, where he reported a “Let us win” message from the troops to Paul, Ron Paul breezed back with a question who's answer appears to be lost on the Arizona Senator – who's getting the support from the military?

Ron Paul has enjoyed more financial support among the military than the other candidates. Cheers ensued as Paul continued his answer, arguing how much money the American government would save if we returned Iraq to the Iraqi people; that is, trillions of dollars.

Paul was greeted with both boos and cheers as he discussed the War in Iraq, arguing strongly that the United States' presence in Iraq is an expensive and unnecessary endeavor, and the responsibility of Iraq should be turned back over to the Iraqi people as quickly as possible.

Big spending was a popular topic among many of the candidates, mainly in military issues, but some in science and space exploration. Paul again stood as the only candidate who supported across the board spending cuts, regardless of the issue, and regardless of public opinion polls that many candidates hinge their success on.

Tancredo started off the debate claiming many of the others wish to “out Tancredo him” in regards to immigration. Tancredo is universally viewed as being one of the tougher candidates, along with Congressman Paul, on the issue of immigration and securing our southern borders.

Mitt Romney suffered through a rough night with many of the issues, clearly picking and choosing his words carefully during several of the questions, including the issue of abortion and allowing openly homosexual persons to serve in the military. Romney drew several boos with his avoidance on the question of whether his government would torture foreign soldiers captured by our military.

We have donated a lot of money to this guy and put in a lot of effort in getting his name out there. I want him to spend more time practicing 30 second answers. hehehe

Most of tonight's debate was focused on Rudy G.

Ron Paul did have a great video/ad.

I'm probably nitpicking cuz I think he is our last great hope. He has to be perfect at every chance he gets. When he screws up a word, it's like a knife in my heart. lmao

maybe it's just me, but did almost every time they show someone close up in the audience, they look like they had the flu and were strapped into an interrogation chair?
