Thanks JD. I appreciate the info as well. I will rarely download any programs these days. Spyware, Spyders and Trojans OH MY! :)
I've had Frostwire for a good while and have never had any problems with it--and it is a rare thing when there isn't a source for a song unless it is something really off the wall.
Glad you like the looks of it and you're right, it IS cool. I have found lots of great songs on it--for instance, when I saw this thread, I had always liked Wooly Bully too but it had been a long time since I had heard it. Opened up Frostwire, did a search on it and had the song downloaded in about two minutes.

Very cool.
There are several I've looked for on YT, that are just NOT THERE. Popular stuff by the OJays to name one (The Backstabbers, remember that one?). Then too, I'm finding more often now that YT sold out, certain songs where the embedding has been disabled.
Glued to the tube and raised on American Bandstand, you just know more is out there !

makes me think, maybe we could have an area or a thread to ask for songs we're trying to find. I'm sure we all have stuff somebody else is madly searching for.

Yes I do remember it and it is also available on Frostwire. Depending on your internet connection you should be able to download it in about a minute and a half or so.
As I understand it with Frostwire you are just trading music you have with other people and none of it is on any central server, just on the hard drives of those who use Frostwire. No different than sharing newspapers or magazines in my opinion.

That makes sense to me.

It's all audio, but I recommend you check out Sugarmegs, it's a huge collection of live concert material from bands I'm sure you like.

One for the Buckethead fans (if there are any here--he is one of my favorite guitarists).
Oddly enough, I was listening to Buckethead earlier today. I had to replace my reciever recently, and was using Monster And Robots to test out all the settings on surround channels.
Beethoven Symphonies was next CD, so it's been an interesting evening, accoustically.

Since you're not Herbert and not the one stealing the sunbeams I thought you might like this (at least the girl, Cherry* [which is not her real name btw]).
