I was using a mirror to tattoo 'support bush' on my left arm. When I finished it actually said 'hsub troppus'. Next I found out this means mr. penis breath in serbian. Any idea on what to do about this? If you see palo, ask her if she has any ideas.

I defend Bush on the War On Terror...I defended Bush when he tried to reform Social Security.

But yer full of shit when you try to label me as a "Bushbot"...MUD

I think the only people who still use the Bushite phrase "War on Terror" (other than ironically) are Bushbots.

Same goes for supporters of the scheme to privatize Social Security. Even the Republicans aren't talking about that too much since the markets took a dive.

To reason, indeed, he was not in the habit of attending. His mode of arguing, if it is to be so called, was one not uncommon among dull and stubborn persons, who are accustomed to be surrounded by their inferiors. He asserted a proposition; and, as often as wiser people ventured respectfully to show that it was erroneous, he asserted it again, in exactly the same words, and conceived that, by doing so, he at once disposed of all objections. - Macaulay, "History of England," Vol. 1, Chapter 6, on James II.

I notice you're not defending your use of the phrase "War on Terror" (the line of thought behind which has been associated with all the worst abuses of the Bush regime).

feel free to stick within the present broken system

The system isn't broken. It's the most successful government program of all time. It's facing problems because Bush loots 40% of the pay in to pay for his tax cuts to the wealthy. Were this money put into trust, as it was supposed to be, there would be no problem.

Be careful when you let Rush do your thinking for you. He doesn't have your best interests at heart. Modern conservatism is the wealthiest 2% of the country using a billion dollar propaganda machine to play with the heads of people like you.

Recall in 2004 how you told us how Bush would get the budget balanced? How is he doing with this?

Once a Bushbot, always a Bushbot. "Islamofascist," "war on terror," blah blah blah. There's nothing there but empty AM talk radio slogans and Bush administration/Fox buzzwords.

Sounds a lot like Soviet citizens shouting out the latest Communist Party pet phrases.

May sound a lot like them, but the difference is: almost all those Soviet citizens didn't believe in those slogans they shouted.

I should have thought of that. The Soviets were forced to shout Communist slogans. Bushbots shout Bush administration slogans voluntarily.

Who did you support in 2004? There wasn't even a Perot or a Buchanan around then for a protest vote. I'm hoping Bob Barr runs as a libertarian this year, I can't see myself voting for either McCain or whoever will be the Dem nominee.

What was it that you didn't like about Bush, since you say that "winning the war on terror" (newspeak for occupying countries like Iraq that never threatened us) and "fighting Islamofascists" are important to you?

And what is an Islamofascist anyway? It seems to me that the Bush regime, with its patriot act, its approval of torture, its network of spies, its cronyism with companies like Halliburton, and so on, looks a lot more like Mussolini's Italy than anything any ragtag gang of Muslims ever put together.

"Who did you support in 2004?"

The Constitution Party's candidate (Peroutka) got my political contributions in 2004...but when it came down to it in November of 2004, I pulled the lever for Dubyuh.

"I'm hoping Bob Barr runs as a libertarian this year, I can't see myself voting for either McCain or whoever will be the Dem nominee."

Nawww, I can definitely see myself voting third-party this November, McCain was about LAST on my list of preferred GOP candidates to get the nomination. I haven't given up on him yet, though, he claims to be a fiscal conservative and I'd like to see him flesh out his agenda in that regard.

"What was it that you didn't like about Bush..."

Big Guv'ment over-spending mostly...

"And what is an Islamofascist anyway?"

Don't play coy...terrorists who want to kill Westerners as part of a failed attempt to keep the Crusades going ad infinitum.

"It seems to me that the Bush regime, with its patriot act, its approval of torture, its network of spies, its cronyism with companies like Halliburton, and so on, looks a lot more like Mussolini's Italy than anything any ragtag gang of Muslims ever put together."

LOL...that silly little tirade of Bush Derangement Syndrome wouldda played better at the DailyKos...MUD
