Devolve Power Outta the Federal Leviathan and Back to the States, It's a well researched and documented understanding of where we're really at, when and where it really started and it names names along with deeds. It's very important; only book more important right now IMO is the Bible.
4um Traitor The Creature from Jekyll Island and The Confession of an Economic Hit Man are must reads, imo.
It's on my list now.

Let me know the next time the GOP runs a halfway decent candidate with a modicum of principle instead of a two-bit political player who supported the Bush-Frank-Pelosi Wall Street bailout, and I may consider voting for him.

_________________________________________________________________________ Many of us read the book long ago (in my case in 1983) and it's largely the reason many of us are who we are today. Once we understood the sinister workings of The Creature it colored our perceptions of all things political. Many folks (particularly those still laboring under the planned two party sleight of hand/misdirection) misinterpret that as being pro Democrat when we bash Pubs and vice versa, when in fact we reject all thesis, antithesis, synthesis theater that's approved and fed to the masses as a means of people control. In short, it's not about abortion, Creationism versus Evolution, separation of church and state, gay rights, socialized medicine or any other issue that's approved to tire us out before our nap times. The real issue is to keep us preoccupied in our playpens and to create the illusion of political involvement as they strip the wealth of the nation using fiat currency and official US GOVT cover, i.e. symbols and enforcement actions for their swindle. And if you or I attack each other for being on "the wrong side" of one of the approved (that is, harmless) diversions then we're responding to programmed stimuli like Pavlov's puppies, and that makes "them" very happy.
