i'm majorly annoyed. i can't embed tubes more often than not. i'm not checking the autolink box and i tried removing the object tags as FL suggested and it still didn't work.

Still works fine for me. I just copy the embed code from the yt site and it works. I don't delete anything. As pointed out, the param code gets swapped for p*r*m but it's always done that. That was put in as a security measure long ago and I never saw a need to stop having that happen. Maybe MSIE has an upgrade that makes it not work anymore. I'll look into it.

It looks like your version has a carriage return inside the portion of the code that says "application/x-shockwave-flash". The CR is right before "flash" and that seems to be screwing it up. Try posting again and make sure there's no CR there.

No. CR is short for carriage return. In your post, there is a carriage return right before the word "flash" so it reads It should be: Pinguinite.com EcuadorTreasures.ec
MSIE doesn't wrap as nicely as firefox. MSIE probably assumed it was safe to add a CR after the hyphen in "-flash" like it was a normal word break, but YT disagrees.

ok, i see what you mean. the last one i posted didn't have the CR in that place so it posted. if i see that again, can i correct it somehow or is it out of my control?
It's probably browser related. Try posting using the same browser as when it didn't work. If it doesn't work, check to see if it added a CR before "flash" and take it out if it did.

I tried putting pics in the "QUOTES" box instead of the RESPONSE box ... works for me !
Try posting again and make sure there's no CR there Yeah I forgot to mention that yesterday, where the "application/x-shockwave- flash" usually gets divided on the line and causes problems, where you have to manually go back after hitting "Preview" and remove the carriage return.
Removing the object tag removes the blank object window, forgot to mention the CR problem, oops...
