I'm thinking more about posters' comments on another thread regarding suggestions for RP's running mate...and I know at this point we are getting ahead of ourselves, but what the heck, it's Christmas and it's okay to be frivalous...

Perhaps Judge Napolitano might be a better fit as Attorney General.

And Senator Jim Webb ( a former GOP'er who left the party because of the neocon take-over) might be a good candidate for RP's Vice President. Webb is very personable and articulate and he is old school conservative. ( I don't see him as a Dem frankly. That marriage is one of convenience for all parties concerned).

So what do you guys think of my VP candidate suggestion?

Not a bad idea at all. That would be a killer ticket.

Let's go a step forward and consider RP's cabinet:

Secretary of Defense - Karen Kwiatowski
Director of CIA - Ray McGovern
Secretary of Treasury - Paul Craig Roberts
Secretary of State - Chalmers Johnson
Attorney General - Judge Neapolitano

Those are the big 5. Not bad, eh?

Here come de Judge.

I'm pretty flexible with regards to Judge Napolitano - either AG or VP.

Ditto for Jim Webb - either AG or VP.

Also on another thread California State Senator Tom McClintock's name came up. He is a traditional small government Republican. He might be worthy of consideration for a spot in RP's cabinet.

Disclaimer: Of course, everyone should remember that it's the Christmas joyful optimistic spirit in me musing aloud on this thread. I am well aware that RP's Prez campaign has several large hurdles to jump before we can realistically think about filling cabinet positions.

On another positive note, the campaign is closing in on the 12M goal for this quarter.

You'll have to step up for both of us tomorrow - we can't give any more to the campaign.

Giving until it hurts is necessary and giving my beer money hurts, to the core. Guess I could cut down on bread and bologna a bit.

I feel your pain, Cyni - truly I do.

We'll just have to suck it up and do the best that we can for Dr.Paul.

Saturday evening 'cheers' back there.
