Of these choices, which version do you prefer?

Those aren't computers (Expect the custom hardware MAC), they are operating systems.

I like fast computers, but settle for what I can afford. Windows is good for games, Linux is good for everything else. Mac is overpriced but nice. The most bang for your bucks would defiantly be Linux.

Good summary.

The only things I'd add to what you said is...in addition to Mac's being nice, they're pretty gorgeous looking! and they are very user friendly,too, for doing stuff with photos etc.

Right now I'm debating between a Mac laptop or a Mac desktop PC. Maybe Santa will make the choice and surprise me!
