Police: Accused murderer in U.S. illegally

Det. Ken Royer of the Milton police said the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, formerly the Immigration and Naturalization Services, told him that Mr. Fuentes is a Honduran citizen and is in this country illegally.

They said they have been unable to establish any link between the victim and her killer. They also said no drugs were involved and there is no evidence that Mr. Fuentes was stalking Ms. Snyder. The officers confirmed that Ms. Snyder had sustained numerous stab wounds, but they said a rumor that she had been stabbed more than 100 times was false.

But his fingerprints are not yet back from the FBI.

No checks at the border to stop even the worst criminals among the criminal illegal alien population. Many carry the Multiple Drug Resistant TB, and other diseases. Not to mention those with HIV and other STDs.
