An LGF reader emailed this photograph, showing Ron Paul at the Values Voters Presidential Debate in Fort Lauderdale on September 17, 2007. Immediately to Paul’s left: Don Black, the owner of neo-Nazi hate site Stormfront. If anyone knows who the creepy guy in the hat is, please post a comment.

Update: it’s Derek Black, Don’s son.

UPDATE at 12/20/07 5:17:22 pm:

Here’s another picture from the same event, showing Ron Paul signing an autograph for Derek Black:

Big deal. There are photos of Hillary, Obama, McCain, et al with people they don't know and whose backgrounds could be used to smear them....

Politicians don't know WHO is at these debates and take pictures with anyone and sign anything.

Sci-Fi conventions are even worse. Shove something in the actor's direction and it gets signed. They get lined up with people constantly. Who is this person? Who knows? Heck, I've got a picture of myself with Pope JPII. No introduction, just "stand here" - SNAP! - here's your picture - NEXT!

Its still a non-story but it shows just how desperate people are to smear Dr. Paul.

The big question is this -- what are they afraid of?

America is not at war. The military is at war. America is at the mall and the Congress is out to lunch.

You take 'money' from everyone, including neo-NAZI trash...and then laugh at them.

As long as it's "Legal Money", in which hands would you rather the 'money' be in?

Some inbred racist mental and spiritual defective, or Ron Paul 2008?

It's not like this 'money' was funneled in from the Chinese Communists or Saudi Arabia!

I'm glad I took some time to sit back and observe who is attacking Ron and where precisely it's coming from.

4 givan 1 is on a mirror thread at the little "NeoCon-Post.org" rubbing his pecker together with that UBER America-Hating, Ruby-supporting, MAGICIAN-NAUer - "Israel before America" - calling Ron Paul a "POS NAZI".

This is one of the reasons I'm on vacation.

It's times like these that I get about this () close to saying "Let's just get it on and start cleansing America of the quislings/NeoCon scourge".

I know, I know...peaceful revolution.

Don't think it's all going to be peaceful after this...this dirty shit will NOT BE FORGOTTEN. I'll just keep adding up all the old faces exposing themselves in a new way, finally and showing us what they REALLY are.

The big question is this -- what are they afraid of?

ANSWER: A guy who can't be bribed or blackmailed into supporting Israeli interests over America's interests - ie. Dr. Ron Paul

The more I read through the onslaught of rumors and character assassination ploys against Dr. Ron Paul by the Usual Suspects or their media agents, the more I am convinced that DC is very seriously corrupted by the circle route of foreign aid to Israel back into the pockets of our "esteemed" Republocrat politicians.

The main issue that troubles the Zio-neoconlibs - you can see that they are at a frenzied pitch - is that Dr. Paul says he will stop all foreign aid including to the Spoiled and Ugly ME Thug Child - without foreign aid to Israel, there goes the bribe money to the congresscritters...and there goes the phony DC chant of "We share values with our good friend and ally Israel" -there goes the IsraelFirster gaming of US politics for the benefit of Precious...

1. This is from the American Thinker 'about us' page: "The right to exist and the survival of the State of Israel are of great importance to us." American Thinker specifically states on its 'about us' page that it is interested in the welfare of the state of ISRAEL:

www.americanthinker.c om/static/about_us.html

Little Green Footballs is a member of The Jewish and Israeli Blog Network at Israelforum.com

www.israelforum.com/blog_sources.php?p=6

American Thinker and Little Green Football are notorious ISRAEL FIRST websites. Jews hate Ron Paul because he's against wasting American treasure and the blood of American soldiers fighting Israel's wars. It's that goddam simple. What the MSM SHOULD be concentrating on is why these SOBs are getting involved in American politics.

2. There's a reason why the phrase 'White Flight' is a part of our language. I've spent a lot of time working in black neighborhoods and I know who moves in and who moves out of those "communities" and I KNOW that just the thought of moving into the 'hood would make the MSM and their FReeper stooges soil themselves, so they are just as much White separatists as anybody at Stormfront. They're just too dishonest and cowardly to admit it.

Rush "the doper" Limbaugh and Sean "the dope" Hannity are two examples of extreme cases.

This cannot be pinned only on the Israelis. Keep in mind, a true Libertarian platform would dismantle the swamp.

DC would become a wasteland as the FedGov was brought to heel and reduced in size to something unimaginably small. All of the recipients (ALL of the recipients) of Federal Largesse from the "Bridge to Nowhere" people right down to the folks who make their living with the "Save the Snails!" posters would be on the unemployment line.

Methinks that's the real deal and as we know, politics makes strange bedfellows.....

America is not at war. The military is at war. America is at the mall and the Congress is out to lunch.

What do Ron Paul smear sites like littlegreenfootballs and townhall have to do with government employees and consultants afraid of losing their jobs or budgets? Answer: nothing.

Those smear sites' common love is I_S_R_E_A_L.

The anti-Ron Paul frenzy at neocon blogs, at neocon talk shows is all about Israel, loss of foreign aid, loss of bribe $ to buy Congresscritters. AIPAC, for example, has the annual budget of small countries. We're talking big big bribe bucks going out the window if foreign aid to Izzy is ended as promised by Ron Paul. Also ending foreign aid to Egypt and Jordan would put mubarrek and the Jordanian King in very bad moods and they might act in rather unfriendly ways to Precious and we can't allow that to happen, can we?

Do you still tread over at NeoCon-Post.org?

I try to change minds when I can. I see a few glimmers of hope. Have you resumed your support of Ron Paul? See his article, Effective and Practical Counter-Terrorism Measures from October 2001.

I think he is right to downplay the issue of borders because of the potential it has for stirring up unnecessary hatred toward the wrong people. The real threat is the growing acceptance for the idea that America should be regionally and internationally integrated by law for the purposes of "peace" and "commerce."

I still trust Ron Paul to counter that with what power he would be given as President. I also think he would lead us away from that as a nation. I do think he would abolish the Department of Education, as well, and many other departments.

Please keep us posted on your positions as you have time.

This is a good idea that should be spread to all RP meet-ups:

Now that the federal media's SMEAR campaign of Ron Paul is starting, all RP supporters everywhere should promise to make a donation in some amount to the Ron Paul campaign upon each and every occurrence/incident of a smear by the federal media (RP is a racist, terrorist lover, wants to club baby seals, one of children he delivered has more than one DUI, sexist, has chronic halitosis, [fill in which/whatever talking point Limbaugh, Hannity, Cavuto, et. al. have been supplied with]).

The federal media can then, at least, assist Ron Paul with campaign fund raising.

They are very of afraid of Ron Paul. Good.

It was predicted on this very forum that when RP was viewed as a threat to the zionista establishment that 'they' would pull out the race/anti-semitism card.

They pulled the same shit on Buchanan except back then, they didn't have zionist websites such as littlegreen 'snotballs', FreeRepublic, etc. to spread their bile.

No surprise this is now happening to RP but a bit early. They didn't pull out this crap on Buchanan until after he won New Hampshire.

Never swear "allegiance" to anything other than the 'right to change your mind'!

There's a lot more money at stake than just the foreign aid to Israel which amounts to a mere $3B per year plus the occasional extra goodie which is also a drop in the bucket.

The bigger picture is a 50% reduction in FedGov operating revenue plus a loss of all of its footsoldiers like BATFE and IRS - along with a potential Federal Reserve shutdown.

That's a heck of a lot bigger than the drop in the bucket that goes to one place.

America is not at war. The military is at war. America is at the mall and the Congress is out to lunch.

As I pointed out to you earlier on this thread, the smearing of Ron Paul is coming specifically from zioneoconlib quarters. It's not from federal government unions for example.

These groups ( net blogs and forums like LGF and Townhall, talking heads in media Hannity and O'Reilly) could give 2 hoots about the little people working in fedgov who might eventually experience some cutbacks in the course of a 4 year Ron Paul Administration. Come on - you know as well as I do that these character assassination operatives/specialists care only for Israel. Israel represents a passion for them. And these attacks and smears are very passionate and frenzied indeed.

Ron Paul as President will be limited on what financial cutbacks and foreign policies he can get through Congress quickly.

***A President could push through Congress very popular policies by using his office as a bully pulpit to appeal directly to The People to get on the backs of the congresscritters. And believe me, if any President mentioned cutting all foreign aid and to re-direct the foreign aid $ to focus on America and Americans instead, no doubt there would be a resounding Wave of agreement from West to East coasts. The phone lines to Capitol Hill would be lit up 24/7 like a Christmas tree. Congress would have no choice but to approve Ron Paul's appeal to the public on foreign aid. Even the most politically uninformed American would LOVE the idea to stop giving away US taxpayer $ to foreign nations. That's a big time winner of a Pesidential policy.

A President who advocates cutting back fedgov is a bit dicier a proposition - it's not as clear cut an issue that Ron Paul could use his bully pulpit for geting instant public agreement to pressure Congress. Reducing federal government "services" would get the public worried and feeling uneasy - what exactly does that mean? and how might it affect them personally? would there welfare checks get cut? would their Medicare/Medicaid options dry up? would the FBI be disbanded and no longer protect them from kidnappers and bank robbers? You see what I mean - cutting fedgov requires lengthy debates and discussions blah, blah...

***The other thing that President Ron Paul could get instant approval from the general public if he used the Oval Office as his bully pulpit is bringing our military home from the Iraq War. Once again the congresscritters would be under tremendous pressure to follow through almost immediately on President Ron Paul's new foreign policy. The insta-second that President Ron Paul gave his press conference on bringing the troops home from an unpopular foreign war, sheeple cheers would be heard from sea to sea. Congress would not be able to drag their feet on this issue. It's pretty clear cut. You're either with the President and the majority of the American electorate or you're not. And if your not, then chances are you'll lose your cushy congresscritter job at the next election. Congresscritters like their jobs - that's why they like to stay indefinitely once they get to DC - life is good there evidently.

Coincidently those 2 policies that President Ron Paul could push through Congress almost overnight would impact Israel tremendously. And ergo, that's why the zioneoconlibs want to smear Dr. Paul. They fear what an unbribeable, principled constitutionalist President Ron Paul could and would do to Israel's finances and security. President Ron Paul would ensure almost immediately after taking office that no more US blood and treasure would be wasted on Precious.

If he has the goods on Ron Paul it would be shocking since the ADL has been investigating him non-stop since he started his campaign and they still have nothing.

Ron Paul is almost too perfect, which is scary in a way. If it wasn't for his flaws regarding 9/11 then I honestly can't see anything wrong with him.

I hope it is about Huckabee, that guy is really Ron Paul's main competition now especially since he has also said he wants to get rid of the IRS. Rudy is the establishment's choice while Romney is their back up guy. So Rudy and Mitt are safe. McCain really should retire. He looks sick.

I think the government has lied about 911, but I can't prove exactly what happened that day. Running for President is big league stuff, and I can't fault Dr Paul for being circumspect in his replies to reporters. They are ready to pounce, and unfortunately Goebbels was correct, a lie repeated often enough can substitute for fact in the arena of public opinion.

how are the Minute Men treating Ron Paul these days?

Gilchrist's endorsement of Hucklebee, and Tancredo's of Romney have solidified opposition to both of these candidates. Since Tancredo dropped out, there are really only two choices for the majority of Minutemen, Paul or Hunter.

Mentioning Glen Spencer's (Glen Spencer's American Patrol Report) endorsement of Ron Paul has yielded some good results. Glen had been active in Border Watching long before the Minuteman Project came along in 04/05.

I would guess that various groups will come out soon for either Hunter of Paul. Those that are "non profit" 501 c, are not supposed to endorse candidates so they'll remain silent, at least officially. Regarding your earlier comment about "downplaying the border". Wishful thinking IMO, it's too hot to ignore, and it isn't Ron Paul's style to duck the issues.

...it isn't Ron Paul's style to duck the issues.

If I had to prioritize this election it would be as follows:

  1. Constitutional ideology, and the need to chain down the federal government to strict limits.
  2. Dismantling the police state.
  3. Monetary policy (see #1).
  4. Regionalism and globalism (see #3).
  5. The mismanagement of the war (see #3).
  6. Immigration and border security (see #2 and #3).
  7. Representation in government (a summary of all).
I think a promise to hunt down all illegals and put the military on the border splinters #2. Ron Paul has to be very careful.

This issue is another one that can play statists against civil libertarians. Statists can be enticed into supporting Trilateralist agendas because of their fears. I think we've seen that year after year here in the USA.

If we are free to stand up for America without government interference (name-calling by the President, for example), I think we'll be in a much better position in 2009.

Time will tell.
