I had a Gremlin in college. Worst car I ever had. Not only did the muffler fall off, the bolts on the carburator wouldn't tighten all the way.

Damn, that does look dangerous.

Got a gear head fiend who has a six pack Challenger. Took me for a ride in it. For a few seconds.

The acceleration in that machine was greater, for a few seconds, than the acceleration in a 737 jet taking off.

My Dad bought a 1970 Challenger with the 383 Magnum new in 1970, I practically grew up in those hi-po cars. I've got a 2001 Mustang V6 which is fun to make hop around corners and stuff, but it doesn't even come close to the pure pinned back in the seat acceleration of the old big-block cars.
