A new feature has been added for automatically hyperlinking web addresses. It's a checkbox selectable feature for when posting both articles and comments. Anything auto hyperlinked will be as a clickable link to a new page, which would include links to images. That is, it won't make an image address into an < img src=.... but rather an < a href=....
Also, long source URL's that used to screw up article threads, pushing them down below the title box is now fixed by not displaying the central portions of the URL's if the total URL length exceeds about 65 characters. Clicking the link will still work, you just won't see the full link address displayed on the page. The change is retroactive for all links ever posted. This link demonstrates the effect.

Also, max URL lengths have been increased from 100 to 255 characters.
