There was a comedian by the name of Stan Freberg, that did the funniest takeoff of the Lawrence Welk show. The catch phrase was 'turn'a off da bubble machine'. A glass of bubbly would be nice though!!!

Actually I thot her work was well done. So being Christmas and all I guess I could tell Pep she did a good job. I am grumpy this morning because Santa left one small box, I knew it either was a bomb or another lump of coal.
I did get a lump of coal. I think it was because I didn't discover Ron Paul sooner this year.
In supporting Ron Paul I am trying to cleanse my soul for having voted Bush. I know, my soul is forever stained and 62 million other dummies voted Bush so I do have company. I even voted Carter, that stain still shows. I try to hide the stains by saying I voted Goldwater and Reagan.
This election I hope millions of Americans think back on what they got for their votes. When I was listening to Ron Paul talking with Russert the other day, I got a notion that he might be even better for the country than Ronald Reagan was: he WOULD abolish the Department of Education. He WOULD cut spending, not just cap growth. He WOULD balance the budgets. And the American people will be cheering for him every day because their family members will be streaming home from overseas by the hundreds of thousands.

Paul would never be an orator, therefore you have to listen to his message. Years ago I watched an outdoor public speech by Robert Kennedy. When it was over, I asked a lady what Kennedy had said that resonated with her. She thought for a moment then floored me with this..."I dont remember what he said, BUT HE SAID IT WELL". At the time Kennedy was carpetbagging in NY for Senator.

At the time Kennedy was from Massachusetts, lived in Virginia and ran for Senator in NY. Being an ex New Yawker, I knew the people of NY would elect the man and they did. In so doing they ran a good man out of office. Ken Keating was a good man, a good Senator and the sheep of both parties put Kennedy in office.
