I have confirmed that our brothers and sisters of the Lakota Tribal Council are hastening toward dissolving all political ties to the Federal Government and reclaiming sovereignty, status as a separate Lakota Nation. Some realized the haste was unwise so now the council is split on the issue. They are following the route of rescinding agreements but it must be urged they also realize their mistake in the contracts and maintain an amicable, rather than inimical relationship, with the United States.

I have an unconfirmed report that Russian President Putin is in support of the American Indians ceding from treaty agreements and renouncing federal ties. This would make sense as Russia and China plan on attacking the United States if the pop culture and Hollywood and the corporations can destabilize the culture sufficiently. They would like to see the Lakota move in haste to destabilize rather than bolster the relationship with the Federal Government. We all should encourage a friendly and equitable relationship with the Federal Government, not declaration of hostilities.
Let those of us with experience contact, advise, and counsel the Lakota brethren, and remind them that the one they call "Great Spirit," whom we call Yahweh, or Christ, must be our shield and fight our battles. We should not pick a fight, but rather assert our freedom under Christ through peaceful means, so he will guide and protect us, and be upon the throne of our national conscience, whether with the Lakotas or with those who work for the federal government.
Otherwise hasty action could incite conflict and hasten toward war with Russia and China and whatever powers wish to combine to destroy the United States. Those powers would gladly incite conflict between Indians and the Federal Government to make the U.S. easier to invade. Divide and conquer is the tactic.
If we show brotherhood within our country, our country will eventually show brotherhood with the other nations. If we show enmity within our own house, other nations will war with us for our arrogance.
Time is short, brothers and sisters. The hard times are upon us already and the truly hard times are coming. Our only defense against the wrath to come is to live truthful lives and seek peace, not conflict, and demonstrate our love of Christ by our conduct. Hollow words and hollow claims of religiosity will not protect our families and country. We must honor each other and forgive, and seek peace and reconciliation, and rebuke evil among ourselves, and seek to live righteously rather than just following our irrational feelings, lusts, or prejudices.
