If you think "science" isn't based on faith and ignores evidence, you ought to read Stephen Jay Gould's nonsense.
Some science can be and is influenced by social, political ideology and agendas, but most is not. Gods, demons, spirits, visiters from outer space, psychics, remote viewing, Polygraphs, etc., etc., is pure bunk.
In your opinion unsupported by any rational argument or evidence. Because you have an opinion does not make it a universal truth. By the way it is spelled visitors.
My opinion is my universal truth, whether you/others agree with it doesn't even enter into the equation.
My, my aren't we testy. Because you hold an opinion does not make it either true or universally true. It is an opinion which rests upon a foundation of quicksand. Whether I agree or disagree may well be irrelevant to your fanatical belief system, but that still does not make your fanaticism a fact it makes it your opinion. Feel free to hold whatever beliefs you wish, I do believe in freedom of thought and conscience, however, once you enter the public arena your ideas, and opinions, are subject to examination. They have been tried and found wanting.
