If you think "science" isn't based on faith and ignores evidence, you ought to read Stephen Jay Gould's nonsense.

Some science can be and is influenced by social, political ideology and agendas, but most is not. Gods, demons, spirits, visiters from outer space, psychics, remote viewing, Polygraphs, etc., etc., is pure bunk.
