First your chart is a logical fallacy and is an example of a False Dilemma.

First it presumes their are only 2 choices Christianity or Atheism, as well another implied premise is that all schools of thought in Christianity are equally incorrect.

Further the embedded fallacy is that the implied argument, that atheism is a simpler explanation is circular in that it presumes itself to be true and then uses that presumption to support its own premise.

To demonstrate the falsity of such an argument one need only point out one alternative to the falsely limited choices e.g., Buddhism as a spiritual system which is not related to Christianity.

It is further a false argument because the presumption is made in the implied argument that the dogma of Christianity is the same as the fundamental world view and that presumption is also false.

Like most arguments presented by frothing atheists you rely upon false logic, presumption, circular arguments, and outright dishonesty to further your personal OPINION.

As well Occam's Razor is itself a cop-out as the way it is most commonly used, as it is here, is to exclude the other viewpoint.

All in all a nice graphic with ZERO truth value.

Interesting display of colors. Hmmmm.......will have to dwell upon this for a while to determine the ulterior motive for the use of them.

God wants spiritual fruits, not religious nuts!

Occam's razor? On this site? You have to be kidding. This site goes by Macco's razor. That is if you have indisputable visual evidence of airliners crashing into buildings, that means that didn't really happen but they were really blown up by Bush and the Joos in some mysterious manner.

Of course that has nothing to do with your premise, but your premise is just as stupid. I mean if people have a philosophy of denying belief in anything, that is always going to be a very simple philosophy.

LIAR, nobody here has claimed that except for you ALLEGING that there are those that have said it.

I think you're reading way to much into it, professor.

What I see represented by the graph are two contrasting belief systems: One where gods, demons and spirits reside, and one based upon rational objectivity and observation.

It's really not that complicated.

Some people are never satisfied with the simple truth, for them complexity takes precedence over raw facts/truth.

What I see represented by the graph are two contrasting belief systems: One where gods, demons and spirits reside, and one based upon rational objectivity and observation.

So again you respond with a logical fallacy.

What I see is two different views of reality and your opinion of what they mean, which is nothing more than an unsupported assertion i.e., your opinion.

The reality is that one world view takes a view of man as a spiritual being who has an existence which cannot be measured in material terms. The other is simply the denial of that viewpoint and asserting that man is nothing more than a sack of mobile chemicals.

This is simplified by expressing it symbolically:

P = Man is a spiritual being

~P = Man is not a spiritual being.

Atheism is nothing more than the denial of the spiritual and the assertion that the sole measure of existence and its totality can only be found in matter in the material universe.

I find atheists amusing if only because of their rabid fear that they might be more than they are willing to accept.

So we agree cult gods, demons, spirits are a fallacy.*

Ditto.**

When you have to resort to that sort of twisting and logic chopping you are done.

I'll let someone else stick a fork in you.

Some people are never satisfied with the simple truth

How do you explain your existence on this earth? Evolution? Then how do you explain the formulation of life?

Wouldn't Occam's razor indicate that some outside force that you don't understand performed all of this?

That's easy. Life arose on this planet only because of it's orbital proximity to its star, the Sun, creating a near ideal environement for life forms to evolve and thrive.

I don't know what Occam's razor indicates, but deductive reasoning and rational observation indicate sheer randomness and natural forces alone brought life to this planet, as it undoubtedly has to millions of other planets throughout the universe.

Simple, the universe was vomited up "as is" by a giant turtle. There is a whole detailed belief structure that explains this. And it was reportedly handed down by God. And if you simply want to vote on the subject, this belief structure is older than your religion and more people have followed it.

Why is your religion special? Was it also handed down by God? Sort of like Islam or Hinduism or Scientology?

And God personally told me that you are full of it. So I guess that's the end of the discussion - unless you want to claim that God is full of crap.

Why don't you go write some tranparently silly blog on the subject and then quote it here and on LP? (Under a new alias - because all of the others are banned for their stupidity.)

Isn't that what you define as truth?
