No kidding, I was so tied up doing "important" things that the date came and left me without thinking about it. Then a few minutes ago my daughter came in and I realized it was 2008. Now we are on the second hour of the year. Best to ya for the upcoming challange.

The no kidding part is correct! My father told me, when I was a ....ummmmm, BIT younger, that when I got older, time would go past much faster, and, the older I got, the faster time would pass. No kidding. I just hope it doesn't get any faster, or I will not even see ANY of it, or, anything else! Nutin but memories. Everything else is just a blur! Happy New Year, Tom.

I couldn't resist making this a point of order. I did it in memory of threads about this issue way back when. Myself, I want to see the Twenty Second Century. Perhaps that is unrealistic, but does speak as to how much of a masochist I can be. To live that long one would have what seems to promise to be allot of strange and horrible history to have to live through. Especially if we become a dictatorship with a royal family like the Bushes to worry about. I just finished the long annual bicycle ride I do New Year's Day. I focus on getting out and doing something the first day of a new year. I am always asleep and sober when it arrives at midnight. Boring, aren't I? Hope your new year is going well. ;-)
Good points, and I can relate to the Twenty Second Century; I also would love to see it come in! But you do need to clean this up! (After all, it sounds just like me!)
