I scan read it as I have lived most of the time period of which Paul speaks.
Having lived that "history" I can only say he is 100 per cent correct.
I think Paul would agree with me that FDR discovered the way to retain power was via the US Treasury. Down that road we went, hell bent to destruction.
Yeah, right, still trying to win in a rigged game? Go restore a republic under a 5-end star flag just like the other people were building communism under a 5-end star flag, the Star is laughing hard at both.
Ask your predecessor sitting outside in the dirt why he didn't win, remember the answer well - if you don't get it you will be telling same thing to the next one entering.
The best thing we could do now is pass a bill to give parents a $3,000 tax credit for each child they educate. This would encourage competition and allow a lot more choice for parents struggling to help their children get a decent education.
I would go much further than that. Forget tax credits. I would pay the parents 70 percent of whatever the cost of public schooling is (typically $10,000 per child) for either home schooling or private schooling and the parents keep the difference if private school is less and for home schooling it pays the parent a salary for teaching.
Since most parents would then choose private or home schooling for their children, that would reduce the educational tax by almost 30 percent and the children would be receiving a far superior education.

It is certainly dark ahead, but to have a real, not faked, alternative people need to stop participating in the games offered by establishment and think for themselves.
It is sad to see one party constantly inventing frames/games/channels, like creating and modifying certain religions, political and social systems, digging perversions from subconscious mind, creating consumerism, etc., and the other party foolishly trying to find the least unpleasant alternative of those offered but always thinking within the frame matrix offered.
Like, taking a broader view on the Ron Paul issue, democracy is also just one of the society frames used to force peoples to behead their kings. (And arguably invented by suspiciously spirits- and gay-friendly fantasy-like sweet Greeks.)
Reading all those endless glorification threads on Dr. Paul leads to the following questions:
1. Does it all seem to good to be true?
2. How can a person like that not just get there but also avoid being "changed by Washington"?
3. Even if he miraculously comes close to winning, what organizational support does he have to fight the monstrous world system? How many days would he last?
4. Is all this a PR project to identify, expose and sort dissenters, keep them occupied for the time being, distract that 10% from cashing stock and stocking on supplies, and do all this on donations collected in his name, in the best possible fashion of Venetian wisdom?
All the above isn't a try to sell the Tsar idea, but you guys should think real hard why the eastern peoples stick to theirs, there might be something hidden in that option. Democracy isn't the only way to happiness.
Excuse me, wasn't exactly that mix a recipe for 1917 Russia?
I wouldn't say that. It sounds more like the German General Staff in 1943 who had faith and hoped that Hitler would step down after the defeat at Stalingrad. These same people were "repulsed" by those that just wanted to kill the S.O.B.
As for Ron Paul, it would be very nice to give "Dr. No" the veto pen. If a *cough* lone gunman were to take him out it would being events to a head in one of two ways.
1. Those who care about the country would rise up and the bodies of the jackboots would pile up in the streets.
2. Americans would do nothing. Which would be the final proof that their windpipes deserved to be crushed under a jackboot.
I haven't had time to post in a while because my life has been...disjointed to say the least. I learned the hard way the violent option is utterly unwanted, but at the same time unavoidable and effective.
"The more I see of life, the less I fear death" - Me.
2. Americans would do nothing. Which would be the final proof that their windpipes deserved to be crushed under a jackboot.
this is what i expect. there are not enough americans who have been harmed personally by the system and far too many dependent on the state. only when an economic collapse occurs and people can no longer get their welfare and pay checks will there be any chance of revolution. they'll be a huge number of those dependents who will die when they cannot get food, water, heat, meds, etc etc so the fight will be by those who have prepared to survive this catastrophy.
it would be very nice to give "Dr. No" the veto pen
It would also be nice, and just a tiny bit less realistic, to have eternal world peace, but then, wouldn't that be boring and the world overcrowded? Dr. Paul does fine for now as a smoke and mirrors show.
The right jackboots against the wrong jackboots wrestling competition is another good evening TV entertainment. How come a better funded side always wins (WW2 being a good example)?
Well then, I might suggest you avail yourself of good history reading regarding Mr. Schiff and the "Russian" revolution.
Thank you for your kind suggestion. May I also suggest that there is a certain similarity between Latvian and Chinese troops killing Russian peasants for Trotsky, and UN troops about to enter the US for pacifying California riots?

"Most of the trouble in this world has been caused by folks who can't mind their own business, because they have no business of their own to mind, any more than a smallpox virus has." - William S Burroughs
Speaking of necessary reading, this forum is the best reading as the most informative on the net, it has all been here over time:
Russia was destroyed by foreign troops and criminal gangs - US will be controlled by UN troops (easier to go against Americans) and criminal gangs (economy crisis will cause massive amnesty, so that will lead to a massive outcry for gun control).
Russia operation was controlled from London and Zurich, so is the US one.
Nothing new basically, since Ivan the Terrible and the French revolution.
It's a lot harder to rip off a "tax credit" than it is to rip off a gummint check; and even if you do rip off the tax credit, it's your own money you're stealing.
The money is already stolen. I am just for redirecting part of it to the parents.
