Excerpt From Bev Harris' Observations during the Iowa Caucus:

I literally laughed out loud at the magic show the Republicans are putting on.

"We will be very transparent and report in live time on our Web site."

"Well not the details, precincts will come after the totals are announced " (think about this folks: You can't GET the totals without the precinct results. They're doing it out of order)

And then:

"Oh gee the web site isn't posting any results after all"

And then:

"Hello we are the networks and with 40% in we are projecting [note subtle misuse of language] "Huckabee won Iowa" [Correct language would say "we are projecting that Huckabee will win Iowa -- and not a single iota of results had been PUBLICLY released.]

Next we see the only live coverage, done by CSPAN, in which McCain thumps everyone.

Instead of counting in public, they had the public leave the room before the counting and things are being sorted out of view and counted under chairs and in in corners, with no public view of the data. This was done by perfectly nice people. Problem was, they didn't provide them with anything remotely sensible for a workspace -- like, oh, say a table and some chairs.

Next, we see a cell phone situation, which then inexplicably calls him back to tell him the call did not go through. Baffled, he says "we're done. I think."

More happy gesticulating by the networks pronouncing winners with great precision.

Still, at this time, not a thing has thus far been reported in "real time."

Then a nearly filled in map appears, but without telling us the percentage of precincts reporting and with no precinct data.

It's not up to the citizens to prove fraud. What we need is a system where the votes are counted in public (they were not, in Carroll County), and where we can check the precinct results against the reported precinct results.

What we got was a magic show.

There were complaints on Daily Kos about how much slower the Republicans were to report their caucus results than the Democrats were.

I wonder if the Republican establishment played down Huckabee's numbers, in addition to Ron Paul's.

See the additional snippet I posted for more from Bev.

However, my own thoughts are that someone posted an article/video the other day about Hickabee having been given a "thumb's up" by the CFR, and given Bev's observation regarding Ghouliani's numbers I would suspect the opposite i.e., that Hucksterbee's numbers might have been padded since Ghouliani was not expected to do well anyway.

If they were cheating, why wouldn't the cheaters have given those votes to Romney?

Data insufficient. Just speculating - Hickabee is an "evangelical" and Iowa is part of the Bible Belt i.e., "Southern Baptist" - so they generally do not like Mormons, Kathlicks, and Joos - don't forget that Iowa is a "Klan" State. Giving it to Romney, Holy Underwear aside, would have been harder to sell as a valid result.

Then Obama's 'win' is a red flag too.

Holy Underwear

I get your drift.

This whole Iowa experiment, seems to have taken place in some other universe. Maybe the same studio where they filmed the moon landing. /JUST KIDDING !!

So many people on the 4um this morning have offered up some incredible thinking around this. Bottom line, we know we're being screwed with at the next level now.

Exactly. As long as the use of Electronic Votefraud Machines is allowed the results of any election using them IS suspect.

What to do.

Demand paper ballots at the local level? Bring in some Indepedant Source such as, oh, Hugo Chavez to oversee the final count? He's every bit as 'Habitat for Humanity' as Carter and other thumpers./s

Exactly. Paper ballots are the hardest to tamper with and can only be done in relatively small amounts compared to Electronic Vote Fraud where you can tailor the results to fit the "polls".

That was the mistake the establishment/Robber Barons/NWO made in the last 2 elections - the vote count was wildly divergent from the Exit Polls. The disparity was greatest where Touch Screen Voting OR Electronic Punchcard Counting Machines were used.

The objective is an honest and accurate vote count - not the fastest fraud that can be produced.

Paper Ballots, hand marked, and counted by randomly selected members of the precinct of the election is the most secure. It is not perfect as Ballot Boxes can still be stuffed or switched, but it is workable and cannot be tampered with via an electronic change of the tally for multiple precincts by ONE person. With more people involved there is a greater chance of it being found out when it is done.
