The problem with the Paul campaign is its supporters. Most people want to back a "winner" at all costs; they don't understand what it means to run a marathon or what it is to vote your principles.
Watch for evaporation and people switching loyalties for 'instant gratification' - note that money is now flowing to Huckabee for this reason.
The lie of "You're wasting your vote!" is just that. Its a lie. The odds of your vote actually counting (read: deciding an election) is 8x10^50:1 against. You've got better odds of winning the lottery every day for a year than having your vote decide an election.

I disagree with you. I think RP supporters are in for the long haul. They are not instant gratification fair weather people. Otherwise they would not have backed a dark horse to begin with. I think they/we will stick to the end with RP.
Huckster is now probably getting $ from lobbyists and corporate employees who didn't take him seriously before. They're just covering their bets now. These are not loyal supporters. They will throw $ around to whichever candidate pulls in first at the various state caucuses to build future relationships with the "finalists."
