Welcome to 4um! From what rowdee said, you seem to be well informed about American politics and leading politicians. I look forward to reading your posts. You might want to educate us on issues of concern to Canadians. We need to get better informed about our northern neighbor, especially so if the North American Union is foisted on Canada, America, and Mexico. Hey hi. Spent a bit of time vacationing in the North Bay area...Lavigne and Lake Nosbonsing as well. Very much enjoyed the folks in Canada.

I have a funny story aboout how small the world is. When youngsters, (around 20+) my spouse and I lived in California and spent many days skinny dipping and nude bathing on the Yuba River in Nevada City, late 70's, early 80's. It was pretty out of the way. One day while we were there a few older canadian or british folk were hiking thru and were obviously surprised and embarrassed by us.

Fast forward 2001-2004. Up with the fam at a cabin in Lavigne (rural), the cabin renters got together for the final week meal and guess who was there. Yep, the now old folks who upon hearing that we had lived in CA, told us their story of hiking on the Yuba and seeing the nude bathers, with a tsking sound in their voice. We told them we remembered them! Good laugh all around.
